This is not what is happening here, the post is based on a misunderstanding of how the US treasury works unless the user is talking about other events that I have missed and not what I linked here. The treasury yield intervention or the Strategic Bitcoin reserve are not related to FED printing for now. I have not seen anyone bring evidence that money was printed to deal with this situation.

I completely agree with you. I think everyone in this thread has mixed up the role of Treasury and Fed. Yes, Treasury buyback will affect on bond market liquidity and yields across maturities. They bought debt, so they printed new money, how would it be a conclusion!

But I don't want to go the other way and say that everything is harmless debt management. US fiscal position is still important. Treasury is still borrowing heavily, and I saw this month's refunding was supposed to raise about $28.7B in new cash from private investor.

But Bitcoin does not need any conspiracy or literal printing press to be relevant.

Sometimes I laugh at what the government is taking as their own decision or regulation against Bitcoin, annoyingly, even though they are helping with the wide spread of its adoption.

Creating more scenarios that point to the fact that Bitcoin is more reserved and needed than Fiat is what they don't realize they are doing, but to them, they are attacking and creating regulations that do not work in line with what the people need, I expect that day see the model with bitcoin network as what the also have to you implement upon the traditional system for everyone to have financial freedom, and also experience an end to inflation, but they wouldn't.
The most interesting feature of bitcoin that has created economic disagreement between the government and the people is that no authority can issue rules and regulations on bitcoin and cannot increase its supply. Even no institute can claim to be its funder. But personally, I do not expect the government to easily implement the features of bitcoin in the traditional system. Because the control and policy of the fiat system is with the government, but if they want to make it like bitcoin, they will lose their controlling, the supply will become fixed, they will not be able to monitor the entire economy. They will never take such steps for their own losses . And the fixed supply of bitcoin is an important feature in protecting inflation, but it is difficult to avoid inflation in the fiat system. Because a government has fixed money, but if they cannot increase production, then the price will still increase. And if the government really wanted to give people financial freedom, they would have legalized bitcoin instead of keeping the economy under their control. Because people can only get financial freedom through bitcoin.

This proves that the bullish thesis for Bitcoin remains and any noise around it is just used by smarter players to accumulate a lower prices, no matter what the FUD is (hard forks, crypto regulations being against it, and so on). Facts remain: BTC remains the only asset you can truly own that is strictly limited in amount and when measured in USD it will go up on a long enough timeframe.

Why do everyone act like things are going to be different with Bitcoin based on its price movement as to what we already expected from the market this year which is a period for the market to shake off weak hands, let's not get our hopes all up that the market is going to rise in price when that isn't what is expected of the market during this time. Am okay with the corrections as it gives less attention for proper accumulation than when the price is increasing because of some government policies or decisions that aren't long lasting. The Trump government manipulating the market is now getting old as I can't wait for his tenure to be over so we can have fresh government and less attention being given to the industry to allow for genuine and sustainable growth.

The irony of what was supposed to be the most friendly Bitcoin administration by buying Bitcoin and establishing a so called "Bitcoin Strategic Reserve" never happened, and instead this administration, no different from any other administration, is being forced to buy back their own debt in order to keep yields from going above 5%.
I genuinely expect more from us as Bitcoiners than to believe the words of any political leader whose agenda is always self-benefit. Why do people still believe what they say?
This is one of the reasons Satoshi made Bitcoin decentralized, so we don't need to trust them. Since they currently own Bitcoin, they can introduce a strategic option in the market to increase their investment.

This printing of the money to buy back their own debt is sending the clear signal that money printer is back on.
Since its inception, the money printer has never ceased in the first place.

O boy, I was shocked with the Bitcoin pump, I never expected it to be this big, daammnn, what if we never see a new low again? What if 58k was the bottom? To be honest it looks like it.

If later we start coming down which I believe will happen at a point, we might never go under 60k ever again, it makes no single sense to have fold hands all this time and not DCA into Bitcoin.

Many people have already missed the bottom, those who are waiting for 40k will never get it, well played Trump, I started to get worried when every crypto investors I know are all waiting for 48k.

That was when I knew that I will probably not work out.

You are not the only one on this boat. I saw Bitcoin went as high with 27% right from our lows thag we have been trading for months, I think the last time Bitcoin saw this kind of price was around March and ever since then it has been dumping. The US news was what makes this possible but what made it more bullish was because Bitcoin traded above the 200 day moving average and by history, it's a respected sign for bull run even though some people are still skeptical.

I hope the stock that have made some profits recently will not get clear because I have observed that Donald Trump can throw tantrum to other countries now and everything the market has gained all the week will be down badly and at worse if it's a manipulated pump. The only thing we can use to protect the price now is the 200 daily moving average, if it hold then we are going to have a nice bull run and if it's fake, then we will see more downtrend.

You should not blame yourself too much, take it easy on yourself because the market is not been controlled by anyone and it's very unpredictable. That's one of the reasons why I do recommend DCA because we know surely the market will always retraced back and what should we do when we find ourselves in those compromising positions? We don't panic because we're not newbies and know exactly how the market functions.

$58k was the actual bottom or not, there's still more opportunities that awaits us in the nearest future and this is not time to regret or complain, we just sit tight and wait for the market to come to us probably after setting up our market TA and also knowing more about FA. We might not be following the trends but you see action price, that's the main deal in the market.

Unfortunately this is a consequence of rushing to conclusions and writing too fast instead of doing more research. I know that we all dislike the FED and even more when they do massive money printing, but we need to be careful when we talk about things. It is very important to get to the bottom of the truth of certain events. The market has been responding positively since this intervention by the Treasury has started which is interesting even if it may not be the single or even main cause of the market's recent bullishness. There has been some rumor circulating that they may even do a bigger intervention on the yield, and that this was more like a small test but I would like to see some confirmation or action before I believe such.

But I don't want to go the other way and say that everything is harmless debt management. US fiscal position is still important. Treasury is still borrowing heavily, and I saw this month's refunding was supposed to raise about $28.7B in new cash from private investor.

I don't want to say that either as you see, but we have to be careful. Misinformation spreads and keeps adding more false details to the original, so people already started talking bad things about the ideas of the Bitcoin reserve and many other aspects even when all of them were based on a false understanding from the beginning.

While you are right about where the money comes from, you also forget that if you are making bigger debt while paying others, it is still a wrong move, and people have seen that whatever they got, 1 dollar or 1 billion or 1 trillion, doesn't matter; instead of taxing the people lower, they paid off some debt.

It means, they could have made the expenses lower, and tax lower, and that way they would not charge people this much, and yet they ended up with worse situation and by paying off some debt, sure htey have less debt, but citizens still pay the same tax, and that means it wasn't a good decision, and this caused the future debt to grow, look at how much debt they reached, they have more even now, so of course people bought bitcoin because the belief in USD is long gone.

This is sad part here, because many people still believe on false sense of security and advantages shown by those politician. They easily assume that once those leaders talk something good about Bitcoin they see some nice actions or policies will be created to uplift Bitcoin.

If they just see the real situation on which those politicians just using Bitcoin to gain support and fill their own bags.

For sure their view towards those people will change and they won't believe on any promises they made.

After the war spending, the US administration do not have any chance than to print more money since there have the liberty of doing that as the easy way out. As usual, inflation will increase and the Bitcoin in our wallets will just become more valuable than they were. Even though I don't like to directly link Bitcoin price to printing of money by the US, it does have a connection just like we are seeing now. For us in Bitcoin, this should be a period of reassurance that Bitcoin is precious hence, we should hold.

They do need additional resources for the cost of the next war, indirectly they are playing a role for their cause.
Don't forget to pay attention to the wealth of the Trump family after Trump took office, maybe you will be quite surprised if you read it especially when they started entering the crypto world, you can say his family insider, they play it this much to make a profit.
Any country will definitely do economic stimulus, they will print money to be a super hero by saying economic improvement, because all the systems are like that there is no reason for us not to save bitcoin to avoid a world with a system that is sure to be sustainable inflation.

This printing of the money to buy back their own debt is sending the clear signal that money printer is back on. you are wrong he is yo-yo-ing the price to make people lose faith in the coin.

He says Lake America and btc tanks from 81k to 78k

his goal is to play it like a toy. As he bitchslaps canada via verbal talk and btc panics .

trump is a real player and btc suffers for it.
