I've been eyeing these devices for lottery mining for a while now. They have a 3 nm BM1373 chip, the same one the manufacturer uses in the Antminer S23.
I'm really into the 10 terahash model for solo mining, but I'm too lazy to spend $500 right now

The thor p2 is the better one as it offers eth cable or wifi connection which is better than just wifi
It has two... settings
overclock at 720 freq
Normal at 470 freq
Or custom I am doing custom setting and it is under 10 watts 9.1 to 9.6 watts which is amazing.
Do you combine your solo miners to increase the overall hashrate in the pool, or is each ASIC configured for a separate address?
I always compare solo miners to the Bitmain Antminer S9, which I can buy for $25 with a board kit and mine 9TH/s with 700-750 watts of power. Do you understand why I'm so stingy with the $500?

I already showed this can do 12th
and if i want i can mine 9th at 95-100watts. give me a few minutes and I will program it.
for easy math lets say I do 100 watts and you do 700 watts.
100x365x24=876,000 watts burned in a year or 876 kwatts
you burn 7x876=6,132 kwatts
so i save 6132-876=5,256 kwatts
at 10 cent power 5256x.10=525.6
525.60 power savings in a year.
at 20 cent power 5256x.20=1,051.2
so 1,051.20
now even at 5 cent power
.05x5256=262.8
262.80 in power saved over your cheap s9
so the only way you can argue for an s9 is 1 cent or 2 cent power.
give me a minute I will program the unit to show 9th
so here it is doing 9.1th at 113 watts which is 600 watts less than your low cost s9
600x24x365=5,256,000 watts or 5256 kwatts a year saved vs the cheaper upfront s9

I have not tweaked it and found if I can go to 95 or 100 watts vs 113 watts an hour. but a 5200 kwatt savings is a lot
at 4 cents it is 0.04x5200=208 dollars a year
at 5 cents it is 0.05x5200=260 dollars a year
at 6 cents it is 0.06x5200=312 dollars a year
at 7 cents it is 0.07x5200=364 dollars a year
at 8 cents it is 0.08x5200=416 dollars a year
at 9 cents it is 0.09x5200=468 dollars a year
at 10 cents it is 0.10x5200=520 dollars a year
at 11 cents it is 0.11x5200=572 dollars a year
at the 25 cents in my home it is .25x5200=1,300 dollar a year saved in power cost
So basically at 9 cents power and up it is a no brainer to use this unit.
at 6 to 8 cents is is a bit gray
at 4 to 5 cents I could argue for the s9
at 1 to 3 cents the s9 is likely better.
But if you have 1 to 3 cent power get a s19 mod it with altairtech's epic controller
and do 60th for 1300 watts at viabtc.com do not solo mine
you make 2 bucks a day and burn 93.6 cents or 1 dollar a day profit for a profit of 365 a year.
Basically don't solo mine if you have 1 to 3 cent power
back to the Thor p2
it can do under 10 watts a th if under clocked I paid around 470 for it
