SO A few months ago I was sent 4 hammer miners from the builder in China

I reviewed them here on bitcointalk.

I like them.

I like them so much I decided to pay for a newer model on my own and review to show how good it is.

I did buy the  Thor P2 bitcoin miner from altairtech.

but this will be an honest review on gear I paid for on my own dime.



There is a screen shot of the purchase made today.  About 465 price usd with shipping

I paid full price other than a 1 percent coupon.

I really want to let both altairtech and hammer miner that I support them and here is hoping the bm1373  chip p2 is as good as the bm1370 chip gear was.

I purchased the 2 chip unit because it uses an eth cable which is a big deal for me.

I also got this because the price has not risen so if the rally goes up these will go up bigly in price.

I think This unit can tweak to 8th and 80-90 watts if so it can be a fun dca miner.

settled in at 9.5 th and 13 watts a th at 720 freq

this is 12.34 watts a th

and it may go better than that

I am playing to see if I can get under 10 watts a th

So I own the Thor p2 miner came to my home today.

I am playing with custom clocks and can do under 10 watts a th see below


here are the custom settings
 freq 400     ....   normal setting is   freq 470
 volts 1.95  .....  normal setting is  volts 2.02
 fan 40%     ....  auto




this is the most efficient unit I have ever used.

The thor p2 is the better one as it offers eth cable or wifi connection  which is better than just wifi

It has two... settings

overclock at 720 freq
Normal  at 470 freq

Or custom I am doing custom setting  and it is under 10 watts 9.1 to 9.6 watts  which is amazing.
