What is Lumenite?

Lumenite (LMT) is a Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency focused on making mining accessible to home CPU and GPU miners.

Lumenite uses HomeScrypt v1.2, a custom memory-intensive Proof-of-Work algorithm developed specifically for Lumenite rather than standard Litecoin Scrypt.

The network uses a Bitcoin-style UTXO blockchain, fixed block rewards, a fixed monetary supply and LWMA-45 difficulty adjustment.

Public Testnet

Before mainnet, Lumenite underwent public testnet testing with CPU/GPU mining, Stratum mining, multiple nodes, chain synchronization, wallet transactions, forks/reorganizations and major hashrate changes.

The testnet was used to identify problems, tune the network and validate HomeScrypt before mainnet.

Testnet LMT did not transfer to mainnet.

I was there at launch.

Small trouble at launch with Windows wallet teasing, and miners waited 15 min extra for genesis block to hit.
After that, it has been very smooth with very active participation from both pool owners and miners testing and attempting to optimize

This could be a fun project to follow!
