This guy clearly doesn't know what he's talking about and doing it for fame, for some reason Cointelegraph keep calling him an analyst, in my opinion that can't be further from truth by seeing his track record. Either he's too confident of himself or he's racking X engagement money.
Cryptoquant is one of the largest on chain analytics platform in the crypto. He's also an analyst with years of experience in the financial markets. Most of his predictions are based on actual market data, rather than just on emotion like most of us here.

But ironically, quite a few of his market calls have still been wrong. That doesn't mean he doesn't know what he's talking about or has some hidden agenda. That just shows how unpredictable the market really is, and even experienced analysts can't know for sure what's coming next.

What do you think about this? Is it actually over?
If the bear trend is already over, why couldn't BTC hold above the $80k. level? It even slipped a bit lower. Of course, I’m no expert like Ki Young Ju, but my gut feeling (I know, not the strongest argument Smiley) tells me it’s still too early for a real, full-blown bull run to begin.

I thought people like Micheal Saylor said there was no bear market. I hope people that are following people should know right from wrong.
Micheal Saylor is right, for a bear market simply doesn't exist for him. Smiley He buys bitcoin whenever he wants and sells whenever he needs to. Smiley Micheal Saylor exists outside of any trends. Smiley

Oh, if only it were possible to distinguish the truth from the misconceptions of these "experts".

Let us focus on the discussion.

According to some metrics, Bitcoin (BTC) has ended its bear market as a composite BTC price indicator flips bullish for the first time since October 2025.

Key points:
Bitcoin has exited its 2026 bear market, Ki Young Ju says as a profitability metric prints a positive reading of 0.042.
The breakout from negative to positive numbers repeats a bull-market recovery signal also visible in early 2023.
Concerns remain over insufficient market liquidity to support a macro BTC price trend change.

What do you think?
So, is this just another case of "reading tea leaves" - predicting the future based on old charts and signals? In that case, I certainly don't put any stock in their forecasts.

At the same time, are they voicing concerns about low liquidity just to have a ready-made excuse for a wrong prediction if it doesn't pan out?

You know, I have no use for these "expert" opinions. I’ll only believe the bearish trend has shifted if I see with my own eyes that bitcoin is steadily climbing - say, reaching the $100k.+ level and holding there for a good, sustained period. Anything else is just empty talk from these experts.

but I tried to ask AI about the situation and here is the answer:
-snip
AI will answer you with a neutral answer.

First, they will answer with the current trend or like Fear Index. Let's say, the sentiment are more bullish situation right now and the AI will first answer with the movement of bullish movement indicator.

Then, in the end they will answer but also be careful for bearish indicators. If you don't have any history or cache or style writting they usually be neutral (two side of coins) but if you are bullish in crypto you will get answer mostly are bullish.

Not wise to use AI.

Agree, the doens't know anything. Maybe because he claim become analyst and Cointelegraph is just following it. Also, is hoping to get some backlink from him since he have follower & he could share an article from Cointelegraph.

That's why it's better not to listen to this individuals, as they are doing it for fame and for clicks and they might want investors to check their company because they seems to be very bullish on Bitcoin.

At any rate, we all know that we are still in the bear market. And although the price did go up to $80k, it doesn't means that we are out of the woods yet. And currently, we've seen the price going down to $76k-$78k. Short term or at least next month, might be another so-so market as we could be trading in another sideways pattern.

So again, there are a lot of social influencers that will go with their own narratives, but it's better to listen to our own and not be swayed by those influencers and believed 100% what they say.

Checked out his website, I didn't realize that I actually have been using their website in the past, the data is useful but the CEO statement is overconfident, these data gives us insights but no way it could help predict the future and as expected even the CEO predictions are mostly wrong. I'd use the data provided by their website but I'd take the CEO statement with grain of salt.

This Ki Young Ju statement is not far from the truth looking at the current Bitcoin market situation; however, technically I'm only interested to see one change happen from my point of view of this particular price movement before I conclude and call it the end of the bear market. We saw how price reversed at $82k and from that point created a new low to $57k, so it's a strong resistance level, secondly we also saw how Bitcoin made its way back to $81k in this recent moves and couldn't go further, only when that level of $82k is being taken out that this trend will meet my satisfactory rules to now call it an end of the current Bear market.

Im not shocked if he says stuff like this. He and his company own a lot of BTC and someone bagged majorly supply from a coin wouldnt speak negatively of it. But lets be real, market has its own movement and even him cant predict the outcome of it.

I understand that his bullish on bitcoin but he should remember that theres perspective on crypto like bearish and bullish scenarios. No one can explicitly says there will be no more bear cause thats totally impossible and it will not be healthy at all if theres only up up on market without retracement and pull backs.

I don't agree with his view that bear market is over either, but saying that he does not know anything is a bit too much. He's not some guy who just calls himself an analyst and gives himself that title.

As another member pointed out, he's the CEO of one of the biggest on chain data platform, and a lot of professional traders and investors use its data. He's also been a researcher since 2013.

It could say he has more professional knowledge about the market than most of us here. The simple fact is that the market is unpredictable, and just like us, they can be right or wrong.

What do you think?
Yes, I also think that the bear market is over and we're slowly entering another bull market. This time we're seeing many stocks getting tokenized and big players entering the crypto market. So I guess this time if the bull run somehow starts and gets intensity then it'll be a long lasting bull run not a short one like what we had in previous cycles. I believe the ones who accumulated Bitcoin and have good amount of it in their bags might be happy after a few years when Bitcoin will be trading over $100k and everyone will be saying that there were times when Bitcoin was still under $100k. I think from the current market volatility it can be seen that we might be entering a new bull market and bear market seems to be over.

Well, according to the history of Bitcoin, there are years when it is bullish during the month of October. I posted that in my recent posts yesterday, so I won't repeat it, and I believe this October could also be good for us. But the question remains as to how deep it will go from September until the end of the month. Because, according to history, September was not really good for the Bitcoin market. So, might as well brace ourselves and be ready for something unexpected. IMO, I don't believe the bear is over just yet. This month needs to end first.

What do you think about this? Is it actually over?

I thought people like Micheal Saylor said there was no bear market. I hope people that are following people should know right from wrong.

Let us focus on the discussion.
----
What do you think?
Is there anybody who still believes on what Michael Saylor is saying? He's a Bitcoin maxi, and that's it. His company accumulates hundreds of thousands of Bitcoins and that's it. I don't believe in him anymore. It's good that investors are becoming more and more intelligent now and doesn't react to any Strategy-related news like selling or buying Bitcoin, etc.

As for the prediction, we might be, or we are still. I still stick with my prediction that the bear market will officially end in October of this year. I'm thinking the recent pump was one of the reasons the CEO made a prediction yet again, and speaking of predictions, I wonder if how these kinds of predictions affect their reputation in the crypto space as a whole. Anyway, he might be right, and he might be wrong. Whatever the case is, nobody cares about any analysts' predictions anymore... or at least that's what I feel. Wink Wink

According to the current market situation, we can say that Bitcoin has come out of the bear market in 2026. In the meantime, we can see that the market situation is very good and the performance of the market is showing that the price of Bitcoin will soon occupy a good position. Since this person has made such a comment, of course it is his idea that is why he was able to do it and we are already getting some shelter from it. The market has changed rapidly and the green candle has been seen, so there is no small possibility of a fall in the market. Moreover, the market is getting stronger with the continuous increase in price and it is gradually moving forward, we can see that if it exceeds $82k, the market is more likely to increase this month. There are more positive signs in the Bitcoin market at the moment, such changes in the market that have given us more hope. And according to the way the market is moving forward and a strong support is seen, we can say that the bear market is over and it is moving towards a bull market.

Looking at the history, October is generally pretty good month for Bitcoin. But if you look a bit closer, it often ends red during bear market years. And we shouldn't forget that market bottoms often come in the final months of the year.

So if history really does repeat itself, Bitcoin is more likely to see more downside than upside in the coming months.

Yeah, I think we should be prepared for Bitcoin to drop further over the next few month instead of expecting a strong rally and assuming the bear market is already over.

What do you think about this? Is it actually over?
It can be over based on their words but we have to see the actuality of it when it reaches new levels for its prices. What's the confident price to say that it's finally over? $100k? going back to $120k and above? we don't know. Unless we start to see that this vibe of bear market is already gone, we'd feel and see it on how the markets go green as if they keep on pumping. New money coming in, more good news comes to it. But it's all speculation until we finally get to see the reality that we're totally out of it. I'd say that just a couple of months or a quarter left when we can confirm it.
