The question in mind is if your address is know to hold $7000 worth of Bitcoin and alternative coins is there is possible dangers that I should be on the lookout for?

Even its $1million or $7000 the risk of being monitored  by potential scammers are there. Anyone can see it publicly do theres always risk. But that alone becomes a risk if youre not careful enough to avoid such potential rist at hand. What are those? Since your wallet got exposed expect some phishing coming your way or any sort of luring method that you might carelessly overlook. Like a dusting method 4specially those figures im your wallet looks juicy to scammers.

But if youre careful and aware of these tactics. Youre safe 100% from risk!

If they ask for any sensitive information I will know that their email.accounnt is compromised, the question that needs answer is what could happened to the exposed wallet address.

I don't see the OP stating that the address entered into his portfolio table is an exchange address; did I miss it? If I'm not mistaken, when a user adds an exchange portfolio, they don't need to input a specific wallet address (I believe I've tried an app like this before).

Yes.. that’s right in such case, all they can do is phishing attack+ social engineering.
Basically adding a guess work  for their social engineering experiments.

As other users have already said, exposing your address is not a problem, but the email can be used to send phishing links. It would be best if you could change the email to something else, if possible. At least things that can be compromised. 
You can actually still use the email even though you would be getting phishing emails. As long as you don't click the emails and share sensitive details, then no problem, but if you want to be more secure, you can change the email.

Op was busy feeling concerned over his wallet address when the main threat he should be concerned about is his email address. The moment I read the op, I just understood immediately that this email may have been sent to cause panic and make the owner of the email to either click on links or act on the information sent to him without thinking twice. Now op understands better what he should be very careful of; he should reduce the exposure of his personal details. If his bitcoins are still intact by now, then it is obvious that was one scam attempt by scammers to put him understand panic mode.

I don't think he necessarily needs to change the email address linked because once it's exposed, then it's already exposed. Changing the email address to introduce a different email address will only be amplifying the damage caused already because the scammer will now have two of your emails which will also increase your chances of falling to their phishing links that would now be sent to your both emails.

You can disconnect the email address from other of your important areas and only allow it to operate with the exposed address and nothing more.  Addresses are very secured on its own that a person can only watch but no access to the coins in the address. The level of scammers we deal with in this Modern world is alarming and demands extreme carefulness both online and offline. Announcing the amount contained in a wallet as the OP did can even make a scammer more interested in breaking into wallets and will try relentlessly until he succeeds or gets tired of trying.

More reasons for us to be careful with our personal information and not exposed our data anyhow, and this is also an eye opening for others too, to make consultations before taking decisions especially when it about finance. Had it been the OP lacks the knowledge to figure out instantly that something is wrong somewhere and this mail looks abnormal then he would have fall for this scam no doubts about that. It was just a good news he acted responsibly and not recklessly but now at least now it wasn’t just the OP alone that had the experience but sharing it here gives other users the view of how scammers can approach us in any manner and sometimes it just our respond that decided whether we are getting scammed or not.

Dust attacks have the purpose of linking Addresses to the same identity.  In the situation described by OP where Addresses are linked to the same identity already, dust attacks are not even necessary any more.  You have the answer as an attacker right in front of you.  In fact.  An even more detailed answer than a dust attack would have given them.  They now know not only your Bitcoin Addresses but also Addresses of other Cryptocurrencies you own.

Definitely. Privacy doesn't stop at exposing your address. It goes beyond that. 

The real definition of privacy is to carry out Bitcoin activity without unnecessarily exposing any information that would link who you are and what you have in your possession. The moment he made his email public, that is the moment scammers will try to reach out to him in many ways to scam him. Scammers are looking for the slightest opportunity to identify those who have Bitcoin in their possession.
