I closed
DiscussBitcoin.org a while ago due to various (undisclosed due to security issues, some were quite major) issues. However DiscussBitcoin still has resources to run for at least half a year longer without more donations, so I would like to bring back the forum.
However I would first like to ask the opinions of those interested in DiscussBitcoin. I would like answers to the following questions:
- How should donation funds be handled? (The whitepaper I originally posted for DB is now disregarded)
- What software should be used?
- What forum boards should we have?
- Bitcoin only? Or all Cryptocurrencies?
I also will welcome all other suggestions. Also, I would like to recruit some people who can help with maintenance of the forums (who can provide assistance if needed for things such as errors). However you will not be given a staff rank just for this, although you will be recognized with a Forum Developer tag. Anyway, go ahead and suggest! This thread is self-moderated as I would like this thread to be purely about DiscussBitcoin and suggestions for it - any negativity can go to my PM box, not here.
