The question is, which manager will accept if these people often do spam?
You seem to be describing that 10+ accounts can easily join different campaigns at the same time. According to my previous discovery, even though they are connected to multiple accounts, they are only accepted in campaigns between 2 and 4 accounts.

The rest are just accounts that post nonsense. I believe the campaign manager is still selective in accepting participants, not as you imagine. Lol

Campaigns aren’t as large as they were before. As far as this farm goes, they did enroll 10 accounts in the Gamdom campaign before. It is actually 13 and could be more. davinchi also sent funds to Captain Corporate’s address and used the same WazirX deposit address as some of the other accounts. fullhdpixel and coinfinger are also likely part of the farm if you examine their merit history. You just can’t prove it definitively with blockchain evidence because they have never spent any signature funds aside from the small amount that was paid directly to custodial exchange accounts.

Unfortunately I recognize 12 - 14 names from the list as users I have hired in the past.

With all these farms that have been caught lately, it makes me wonder how many genuine users we actually have on this forum and how many cheats we have running these farms? Is there only actually about 1000 users where 900 operate a farm of hundreds of accounts? By now these farms have probably made millions TBH, so it doesn't bother them to lose a few accounts. Likely only the tip of the iceberg TBH.

^ And what are the chances that every time a farm is detected, they go on to create another one with learned from mistakes from previous folly that resulted in detection? I would say, 100% and this continuous 'improvements' just make it harder to be detected.

As long as signature campaigns are there, this will continue to happen; no way around it afaik. Or BMs could be extremely selective in who they hire and afterwards they should also be checking EACH post whether it's in context of the topic, is logical/rational, is not regurgating what was said in earlier responses — so such accounts are never hired and they lose motivations to create more.

The latter seems more feasible, although the higher workload on manager's part and I also expect burnout.

There's nothing to talk about🤗. As long as there is a place where you can make some financial profit, people will not stop. Moreover, the forum itself is not against alternative accounts. If those who own the farm learn from their mistakes and become invisible and do not post spam, then according to the rules of the forum, they do not harm him in any way. Otherwise, why allow multi-accounts at all? There was an offer to participate in the forum from one IP address, but everyone was against it.

So, I understand your stand that you are encouraging to spam when the farmed accounts participant in 10+ campaigns with one account per campaign. Great!

To you, my friend, I would like to say that if I had rights, I would encourage users to have only one account, and then you personally would not be able to "assert your rights " here and pop up with your alternative account.
I see your old threads. How many of your accounts did nutildah destroy?

I am going to be optimistic and say that chances are 99% as every once in a while, some of those that get caught may get discouraged and leave the forum for good.

What's the alternative? To do nothing? It may seem like a whack a mole type of situation, but still, its worth doing as without those who are catching alt acc abusers, situation would be even worse. Keep in mind that they usually don't restrict themselves to let's say 2 accounts that are in different sig campaign, but instead enroll multiple accounts, merit their alts and maybe worse of all, cheat in contests.

That would maybe work with low lvl spammers, but not with higher quality members, like that guy who had 3 accounts in CM campaign for years (and to stay there for years, you had to be top quality poster).

If the forum went to 1 IP address then account farmers would just figure out a way to use a VPN wouldn't they? I feel like the guys that value their privacy and like to login with a Tor address or whatever would probably get over it if forum policy changed. Could be wrong though.

That's not feasible. Because unless a person has a dedicated IP address, which is something they pay for, they can't guarantee they'll always have the same IP address.

This was extra work for the administration and for legitimate users, who could lose access overnight.

Honestly, I've been on the forum for 12+ years, and almost none of the accounts from the list seem familiar to me. If I didn't remember them, it's very likely that they never drew my attention to one of their meaningful posts. Maybe it's just me, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who didn't notice them in the discussions.
I wouldn't consider them representative samples on the forum.

Yes, I've already said this several times. The forum doesn't link accounts to IP addresses. Privacy is respected here, and this is undoubtedly very healthy. But if you imagine what could happen If every account required a unique IP, the user base would shrink significantly. To say that it's "easy" ...to use a VPN for each account, to be honest, it's not easy, and it's too much of a pain.

That's not feasible. Because unless a person has a dedicated IP address, which is something they pay for, they can't guarantee they'll always have the same IP address.

This was extra work for the administration and for legitimate users, who could lose access overnight.

If a person changes their IP address from one country to another during the day, or very often, then any website like PayPal will instantly block their account. It's just not yet humanly possible to travel at the speed of an airplane.

Again, there is simply no need to discuss something that will not be implemented here.
