You will be blaming the leaders, almost everybody in Nigeria are thieves.

When corrupt politicians are being celebrated by the citizens, everyone would.like to steal to stay relevant in the society that's the situation in Nigeria, the money thr government budget every year for projects are being given for those projects yet the people that received the money will not do it, rhey will embezzled it and call it grace. 

I was nit surprised about the news , it happens daily,  Nigerians are all looking for opportunity to steal, it's a very embarrassing culture in Nigeria,  corruption is the other of the day,  without consequences,  the Efcc as lost their place,  nothing is actually holding this corrupt leaders accountable.  It will continue like this, that's Why no development in any sector of the economy.

Whatever corruption that is going on in our country today, is not just our leaders that has hand on it, we the citizens also have a hand on it. In my local hospital here, according to the government that if you are a pregnant woman or an elderly person from the age of 60 and above and you have your NIN(national identification number) that you are eligible for free medicals, but low and behold there are no such thing, you will definitely pay for your medicine and other things. So, between government and the people working in the hospital I don't know who is saying the truth, because the corruption is of the both sides. In Nigeria if you are looking for anything free most especially from the government just remove your mind, because you won't see anything like that.

It will be difficult for Nigeria to work as a country because Nigerians are so corrupt that any Nigerian who's given an opportunity to head a department will just want to embezzle things that will make the department to function properly, the mindset of Nigerians sometimes make me not to blame Bola Ahmed Tinubu for not seeing his subjects as his number one priority because if a typical Nigerian man is in Tinubu's shoes he will still behave like Tinubu. I think it's high time a law that will see anyone found guilty of corruption face a death penalty should be implemented in Nigeria, this will help in a long way to combat corruption and gradually fix Nigeria.

Your opinion is very true and I agree with your assertions because some of us that are not politicians are more corrupt than the politicians and if we are given any slightest opportunities to hold power we will do even worse than what the politicians are doing none is really righteous but there are limitations to what we shouldn't do as humans and it will also affect our children , diverting or selling what was supposed to be placed in a health center to enhance smooth activities of the health care is truly painful and this set of people are complaining how the government is wicked to them.

The law don't even have effects anymore so long those involved in the dubious act are connected, the case will just be covered and no one will hear about it. It would have been better if those involved or found guilty of this act be prosecuted accordingly without leaving any stone unturn so Nigeria can be a better place and corrupt free.

When it is not Sharia law, such law can not be of death penalty, but if anyone is found guilty, the person can be sent to prison. There are laws for it and the prison term is long, but it should not be a death penalty.

Another thing is that the person can be fined. Example is if what the person stole is worth 5 million naira, the person can be fined 7 to 10 million naira or be sent to prison or both.

But I know how Nigeria can be, those guilty can go to the man and beg him in the way the man will forgive them after they provide everything that he donated.

A Nigerian won't have limitations when it comes to embezzling public funds and that's one thing that has been pushing us backward as a country. Politician like Wike has stolen funds that he and his generation can't finish until they die but Wike hasn't stopped in looting public funds he still wants to be one that will give directive how Rivers State money will be shared even when he's no longer the governor of Rivers State. If those responsible for selling things donated to the said hospital are found, they won't go unpunished because with the look on the face of the senator that donated those things he will make sure those culprit are dealt with if they are apprehended.

It's one thing that always leads to another, hope you know that? In every high department there's a department higher than that particular one, okay for instance, if a hospital is lacking in some equipment, and they really need the government to provide for it, I believe they are not writing to the governor or the president, or not even to the commissioner for health direct, there must be and office they must write to before the letter will get to whomever that will provide them with the equipment, now when the equipment lands there must be some certain people to make sure every equipment lands in full packages, now the problem here is those that are to make sure everything lands completely are the ones that has boycott everything, so when the things land to that particular place, how the thing is being managed over there is none of their business, because even if they find out everything is not the way it should, they will find it difficult to talk because they've been the ones to have soiled it already, but it only takes the good ones to do things right in every organization, so believe me or not it only takes the good ones to put things right in this country, and those good one are only few

More than one hundred mattresses, bedsheets and mosquito nets have been donated to the Awe Local Government General Hospital and some primary healthcare facilities across the area.

The donation was made by the Member representing Awe North Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hudu A. Hudu, as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery and the welfare of patients in the constituency.

All what this man donated are not seen.

Inasmuch as you are trying to pass a very vital message to the general public on this our local board, for me,  I will say that the very first statement on this thread was kind of harsh for the image of all of us who comes from this part of the world. But that doesn't mean I support and justify what the contractor of the hospital did by selling off all the beds, and other things he sent to put the place in other, because had it been everything the Member representing Awe North Constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hudu A. Hudu, was put into proper usage, I'm very sure it would have skyrocketed the healthcare of the lives of people over here. But unfortunately, they chose to embezzle it, which shows it is an individual act.

This must be the worst of it all, corruption in day light and this is also from someone that will sit down and be blaming leaders for their failure to be just and responsible to their duties given to them to lead their people. I remember I was having discussions with a friend, he said if he’s a leader in this country, anyone that is caught stealing government funds, he’ll order for the person to be killed and not spared in order to serve as lessons to others who try to do the same. I felt that was too harsh but sometime when you see what this people are doing and how they embezzle government funds, then you may have a rethink that such should be adopted. Everybody want to take advantage of opportunity in this our country, everybody want to show up when ever an opportunity or power is been handed over to them, this is how our system is and this has changed our mindset that who ever is given power should make good use of it by stealing public money.

The old reality you just reminded me how our politicians where stealing our treasures and making fun of it in place of animals, human animals where now stealing public funds and everybody was just making fun of it too, i know there are still good people in the country but such people rearly get into power.

The situation in the country is very bad, especially those who have political leaders and their workers, they always enjoy the donations due to the people themselves. Government hospitals receive a lot of donations from the government, who are in a state of treatment, but there are many thieves who are behind the leaders, they do not distribute them properly, they take them themselves and sell them to others. Even though the government provides health care quality improvement and health-enriched goods and food for patients, they do not get them, rather there are some thieves in the country who get them. When all those leaders come to donate, they make videos with just a few and remove them online, they have done everything but keep everything secret. I will believe the staffs working in those clinics, because if they are collecting money when the government said they shouldn’t, then why are they doing it publicly without fear that someone will report them to the right authorities? They are confidently asking the affected citizens to pay money because that is the instructions from the government.

If the government are saying they asked them not to collect money, what measures have they put in place to ensure absolute compliance to the issued orders. Since there’s no compliance monitoring team in place to make sure that the affected citizens don’t pay money when they visit the clinics in ur area, I believe the government officials are just chasing clouts for the cameras, by saying they shouldn’t pay money when they go to the clinics.

When what we see in the country is full of politcians that has no integrity, what then do we expect?, when the leaders are corrupt, corruption takes over the system because, people won't be afraid to exhibit dirty characters, how'll any person in his or her right frame of mind sell something like that, is this not poverty mentality, they should be arrested and send to prison after been found guilty by the competent court of jurisdiction.
This is the reason there shouldn't be corruption in a country, if the country was in good hands without corruption, people in different place of work will be very careful with what they do, cause they know that law will take it cause if they are been found in any sharp practices.

Nigeria is not the only corrupt country neither is there any country we can’t find corruption. It might be lesser in some country because they take law enforcement seriously and are more transparent in their government but it is very high here in our country because there is no law enforcement against this corrupt leaders and blind eyes are turned to them, even the justice system isn’t working as it supposed to be that why so many things have been going wrong.
I strongly believe if actions will be taken, more especially on this leaders that aren’t transparent, embezzle public funds, bribery and a lot of violation, things might get better.
