You don't need to invest all the money you have in bitcoin. One piece of common advice for investors is to invest an amount one can afford; this simply means one doesn't need to invest all their money in bitcoin because money will be needed for other basic things.

There is nothing wrong with keeping money in the bank, as long as it won't be there for a long time, because keeping money in the bank without spending it loses value. This is where bitcoin plays a better role for money that is not planned to be spent. Bitcoin investment requires good management of money to be invested, and when an amount that one can't afford is invested, it becomes a failed investment.
I agree with you, as a wise investor it is not advisable to invest all your money in bitcoin, bitcoin shouldn’t be your only hope of income during rainy days, the money invested in bitcoin should be an amount you can afford to do without for a long-period, once you see bitcoin as an emergency fund you will definitely run into loses, trading bitcoin under pressure during emergency period would make you lose, bitcoin market value fluctuates hence you might be on the losing side as at the time of the emergency, you might also be under so much pressure during emergency periods that you will forget the place of caution in terms of bitcoin security and end up running into the hands of scammers, it is completely unwise to trade bitcoin during emergency periods. It is always good to have certain money in your account so u won’t need to touch your bitcoin in times of emergency.

Bitcoin can serve on different purposes as long as we are being able to apply using it where applicable, I have seen some investors that have always been holding their assets on bitcoin while some will definitely decided to have their emergency fund in it, which present us with the situation, where some will hold their investment assets on a non-custodial wallet while there emergency fund on a custodial storage as they can easily exchange it for their needs arising.

Bitcoin can serve many different purposes, but I can assure you that an emergency fund isn't one of them.

Keeping emergency fund in Bitcoin or any other highly volatile asset is a terrible idea and goes against some basic financial principles. Emergency fund isn't there to make you money or beat inflation. Its a financial cushion that helps you handle unexpected situations without having to sell your asset or mess up your financial plan.

These people are just gambling with their lives, hoping to get rich quickly.
