Here is another very uncomfortable questions: “What happens to Bitcoin if younger generations simply don't care about it?”

Before asking this question, you should observe around and give yourself a more befitting answer if really the younger generations are not showing interest in bitcoin. With the way the majority of younger generations are keen into knowing more about bitcoin, you can easily tell that bitcoin will not lose its potential value and it will be a currency that will liveth for many years to come from now.

The interest of the younger generation shown onto Bitcoin cannot be overemphasized, it is really obvious that we will see a generation built on the importance of Bitcoin and how they’ll come up living their lives on why they’ll nurture their privacy and take advantage of the decentralized nature of Bitcoin in this centralized system already on ground practicing.

You are not wrong but there are so many things that the future will bring and that's something that's uncertain so we can't just assume at all. Bitcoin is growing and so is technology but one thing I know won't be so much talked about in the near future is privacy because the world is moving at a direction where no one would even need to be privacy cautious because the government are actively working to know the entire details of everything when it comes to citizens.

But what happens if Bitcoin becomes way more successful than it already is?
What happens when millions or billions of people actually depend on it for their day in and day out activities?
Who or what then would control the infrastructure of such a massive market?
What happens to Bitcoin's decentralisation when big institutions become major holders?
Can Bitcoin remain the same when it becomes a global financial system?

Bitcoin has always been valued more successful than its recent but always depends on the durability while price can be volatile always fluctuate fluctuating but one thing is sure that in the long term price will always break its Ath giving its future value an edge to be more successful than the current time.
Etf and regulations involvement in the bitcoin industry has not influence to determine the decentralized consensus, so, bitcoin will remain what it's rather the external infrastructures can only be effectively be regulated on the off-chain technologies such as the exchange.
Bitcoin network will always be decentralized.

The fact is you actually do not need a lengthy analysis to be able to tell that the adoption rate for crypto generally is increasing rapidly plus generations to come will hardly forfeit it especially owing to the fact that we are in a digital era and trend. The question you should asking specifically for bitcoin is the concentration on its distinct versatility.
When you also look at the fact that people between the ages of 25-44 like and use Bitcoin the most. It shows that Bitcoin is most used by younger people. Younger generations are more likely to use Bitcoin than older generations. This will continue because the older generation is used to a particular pattern, and also because younger people are more adventurous.

The only thing that I think will change is that the block size might be increased. Since there will be more people making use of Bitcoin per day, the block size will be increased so that Bitcoin can process more transactions per second to accommodate the large number of people who use it.

Big institutions are already major holders right now, yet nothing has happened. And don't forget that there was a time Bitcoin was not this successful, and when it became this successful, nothing happened. You guys worry about problems that are not there.

The block size might not necessarily increase even in the future, thats why the Layer 2 solutions like Lighting Network exists in the first place. So if many people starts using bitcoin to transact on a daily basis then they’ll probably be making use of the Lightning Network for that rather than the main network since it will be faster and cheaper for such services.

The Bitcoin ecosystem already has these things in place, so even when there’s the influx of people who want to use bitcoin, the network is scalable enough to cater for them.

row it to y'all:
What's that Bitcoin question you think the community isn't discussing enough? 👇

Who are the next generation? Is it the Gen Alpha you're referring to because that's what I can think of as we're already seeing decent adoption with Gen Z, they're the ones making Bitcoin trend all over social media although they're more focus on the price than the technology and that's a problem because they're sending the woeng message but still no publicity is bad publicity as we can always correct the impressions when they join the industry (just as we do here on the forum).

There's always a price to pay for global adoption and that's what it's looking like for Bitcoin to be fully adopted as centralization is dominating everywhere although that shouldn't discourage us from using Bitcoin the right way. Bitcoins hasn't lost any of its simplicity in my books as the Bitcoin we had then in 2009, is what we still do have now although there's lots of pressure on Bitcoin to lose it's Identity but I think they won't succeed.

Bitcoin will have to go global it's own way and not what the government are trying to achieve with them being in control through centralization of Bitcoin itself or its service providers.
You just said it all because what i do see allover social media about Bitcoin, is only Knowing the  price to able to trade than knowing the other beautiful part of Bitcoin and assuming I'm not members in this forum, i could have accept the wrong information or message this generation is really sending to the public as only means to survive through investing in Bitcoin and that is why i always appreciate each and every one of us that has contributed intensively of dropping an educative message for the upcoming once to be aware of and to know the right step to follow as far as Bitcoin is concerned.

The obsession with Bitcoin has made us forget about the original features of Bitcoin that we started talking about, and which generation is more interested in Bitcoin. Gen Z are the highest adopters of Bitcoin. The ones who are into remote jobs get paid in bitcoin. Students studying in foreign countries are sent Bitcoin to convert to cash over there for their upkeep. Gen Alpha have now picked up similar interest because their parents, who may be Gen Z, do teach them what Bitcoin is all about. This current generation and the next will make use of Bitcoin much better than the others, I promise.
