I really don't have any issue with Gold and believe it isn't bad to add to one's portfolio
But that's where we aligned
He should at least get a life aside trying to paint Bitcoin bad
Because majority don't or won't listen when the numbers says otherwise.
His criticism on Bitcoin is already boring
He should at least spice things up.

When I saw the topic I was quite curious to read what the OP had to say and I saw Peter Schiff's name antagonizing Bitcoin and my curiosity died down because I don't expect more from a Bitcoin hater like him, the guy can say anything just to discredit everything that Bitcoin has achieved in it's relatively short time of existence. Bitcoin and gold are not in any competition except that they are both stores of value, Bitcoin is a decentralized digital currency which is also an asset while gold is mined physically and it is a valuable asset. Bitcoin value has nothing to do with gold's value, any investors can choose where they want to put their money into, both Bitcoin and good are good assets to invest in but there's no need to discredit Bitcoin because you want to shill gold. Many Bitcoin critics are now holding it for profit and I won't even be too surprised if Schiff, is secretly holding Bitcoin, afterall it is advised that we should keep our Bitcoin holding investment a secret, I just hope newbies would know better than to believe every negative things said about Bitcoin.

I'm convinced this Schiff is a top fan and supporter of gold investment so i wouldn't blame him if he talks bad on bitcoin maybe he just doing it out of ignorance. There is no need for him criticizing bitcoin or those investing in bitcoin, they are different assets that requires no competition, one can still be investing in gold and also invest in bitcoin they are good assets to hold, bitcoin is a store of value which has also been profiting long term investors so i don't see any reason why we should fear bitcoin and invest in gold.

I have conbceded at times that the Bitcoin price could go up because people are dumb enough to
That guy is a skeptical person and nothing else, I remember the days when he said Bitcoin will never touch $100k and it not only touched $100k but crossed it and made its ATH that's over $125k not just $100k. That Peter Schiff knows nothing in depth about Bitcoin and he's more like a dumb fellow with worst judgement. I never trust him and I think anyone who follows him is going to regret when they see Bitcoin reaching and crossing not only $200k or $500k but $1 million and more.
You're right Schiff has been skeptical and biased about Bitcoin and I think it's probably because he doesn't believe in Bitcoin. Most of his predictions are wrong. Nobody can be certain about what will happen with Bitcoin and where the price will move to that why it's wrong to completely to set a barrier point for Bitcoin.

Schiff has a different view about Bitcoin and probably compare it to gold that's why he is against Bitcoin success. I think people should be careful with blindly following anyone predictions no matter how influential they can be especially when they are predicting what Bitcoin can not do because bitcoin is a very promising asset with the potential to keep increasing in value. $200k or $1m might be pretty far but I won't be surprised if Bitcoin eventually cross above it because I believe it can.

If Schiff says that the only people ahead in bitcoin are those that bought it a long time ago and that the majority of holders only entered during the last 4–5 years, then he should probably bring evidences to back up that claim, if not I’ll just take it that he is simply voicing his own opinions and not factual circumstances.

He is either a fool or he is just playing games, because if he truly mean what he said that the early buyers are the ones who are truly ahead of others why is BlackRock buying?? Why is huge institutions all over Bitcoin? Why aren't they after Gold?

This is because Bitcoin haven't even discovered it's real value yet, the 1% of Bitcoin adoption is still a thing, if it's too late wit Bitcoin I bet that BlackRock won't be here..

That's a big sign that we are still early, huge figure per Bitcoin is coming, $1million BTC is possible and they don't want to miss out, we are not wrong to be here right now, we aren't missing out, we are definitely still early.

He's a foolish supporter of gold investment, whose purpose was to make good look good to the people who dont understand the potential of Bitcoin, while he did marketing for Gold. That's why he talks trash about BTC, which he sees as something that can possibly make gold obsolete in the future, so instead of him joining the BTC market, since it will literally affect his investment in gold, the best thing he chose to do is stain BTC through his FUD statement.

There is no need for him criticizing bitcoin or those investing in bitcoin, they are different assets that requires no competition'
That's not the belief of most asset investors. All they believe is going against the asset or market that seems to threaten the rank, and future beneficial level of their asset.

one can still be investing in gold and also invest in bitcoin they are good assets to hold, bitcoin is a store of value which has also been profiting long term investors so i don't see any reason why we should fear bitcoin and invest in gold.
Yes, they know, but they dont want BTC to fully climb the ladder that will make it surpass the achievement of Gold.
