I think you are under-estimating the power of advertising within the gambling ecosystem and gambling community. There are services which could be very good and serve their gamblers very efficiently and with a very good level of trust, but in the end neither of that matters from the business point of view if nobody knows about the casino and their volume is neglectable.
That is why advertising is important even for casino which are already doing very good in terms of trust, terms of service and speed of withdrawals.
