For some time now i have gently looked into how presidents of other countries especially European countries operate, then i came to understand that they find it very difficult going for vacations off there countries except on emergency purpose but that of Nigerian presidents is fear from that, they spend most of their vacations outside the country knowing fully well there are good places in Nigeria they could go to that is if they have done their jobs as presidents. For this am bothered and will love to know why they prefer other countries to Nigeria.
I understand your concern, but I think there are a few things to consider before concluding that Nigerian presidents simply prefer foreign countries. Security, privacy, medical facilities, diplomatic commitments, and personal preferences can all influence where a president spends private time.
That said, it is also fair to question why our leaders don't seem to have more confidence in the tourism and facilities within Nigeria. If our country has beautiful destinations but even those governing us regularly choose to spend their private time abroad, it raises questions about the quality of infrastructure, security, and public services we have built at home. Maybe the bigger issue is not where they take their vacations, but why Nigeria has not been developed enough to make staying here an attractive option for everyone, including its leaders.
