Bitcoin's market price can fall dramatically, even while inflation is high. Research and financial institutions have noted that Bitcoin's relationship with inflation is not strong enough to call it a reliable inflation hedge.
Think about this... Due to the increase in consumers price, the fiats has been deemed to loosing its purchase power like for example, we considers the CPI-U of USD from 2010 to 2026, you will notice that the USD has lost over 34% of its values.
If you also considers the potential values of Bitcoin as from the 2010 up til this day in 2026, Bitcoin had realized an increase of over 27M percentage as it trades on $81K per coin.

Then considering the All Time High at $126K in October 2025, Bitcoin had realized a valuable increase of roughly 42M percentage.
With Bitcoin being proven this potential hedge of value against inflations and how the market has also been keeping custom to the 4 years cycle, we are also expecting further break out of ATHs after halving.

I hope this explanation has convinced you to see Bitcoin as a potential assets?

This statement can only be said to be true when it has to do with Bitcoin short term investment, because as long as its long term is concerned, Bitcoin the the perfect hedge to your respective currency inflation. Because why is inflation being caused by a country's poor economic policies, the increase in the value of Bitcoin is been caused by the rapid demand and supply of it as a very important digital currency. And more so, you stand a better chance of making huge profits from an investment made in Bitcoin. Because for example, assuming two people invested $2000 each in 2020 when the value of Bitcoin was still around $20,000 per BTC, and one invested his $2000 in Bitcoin and the other one invested his $2000 in banking shares. Then you will notices that the person who invested in Bitcoin, with its current value of over $85,640 at this moment would probably had made $8000 by just holding his bitcoin.

There are only some few persons that can successfully use bitcoin to hedge against inflation. Someone that is looking for something quick will say the "hedge against inflation" benefit is a lie. Those that can achieve this with bitcoin are those who are patient. Those who saved bitcoins 5 years ago when bitcoin was trading at around 40k have successfully defeated inflation if they still have their bitcoin savings in their wallet still untouched. Bitcoin is 86k now  which is still at a good price despite volatility. Trust me, someone  who saved same amount in fiat 5 years ago will be left with money that has reduced in value and purchasing power greatly.

The hedge against inflation benefit is for those that can hodl for a long time. It is real if you do it right.
To be precise the rich people are the class that can successfully use bitcoin to hedge against inflation in the country. Some amount i see in peoples portfolio are meant to sort out immediate bills not to keep for long period expecting the value to increase. The way i understand hedge against inflation is not the way people see it. People see hedge against inflation as a way to keep the purchasing power of an amount to have the same mathematical value after a period of time even if the price has changed. To me, if it doesn't beat the initial value x3 or x4 its not hedging.

Open any Bitcoin chart, zoom out, compare the returns you would have had if you held since at least one cycle ago to inflation, repeat the same thing but comparing one earlier cycle to inflation and come back telling me Bitcoin does not protect its holders from it.  The main argument is that it can also fall?  Good.  All these people can simply go back to Fiat and enjoy it.  After all, 1 Dollar is still 1 Dollar even decades later!  It may purchase you a loaf of bread today and a slice of bread 20 years from now, but it is still 1 Dollar, is it not!

While it might not offer the best or absolute position, it’s a much more better contingency plan than you would have with fiat which, we’ve often seen that, once it affected by inflation, the chances of appreciating and retaining its precious value is always never happening.
The case is entirely different from Bitcoin, each full is followed by a pump after an undefined period in time and not only does it retain its previous value, it adds more value to your holding.

They can be correct but remember that these institutions and researchers can also be wrong. And one way of proving it by zooming out the charts and see the data from within. As well as knocking some information recently today by looking at how much bitcoin is and the inflation rate of your respective countries or by looking at the US' alone. In fact, these institutions don't want people to own bitcoin and that's why they're giving this misinformation so that they'll get as much as they can to protect themselves from inflation. Because no matter what they say that bitcoin isn't a reliable hedge against inflation, they're saying the opposite. That's the same thing when they call not buying the dip but they're doing it.

From your perception, you're right, But...Since the price of Bitcoin is not stable, it can't be say that bitcoin will protect people from inflation...The price of Bitcoin changes, it appreciate unexpectedly and it also decreases unexpectedly..so bitcoin can't be say it’s a completely inflation proof...

Of course it's not a hallucination that it's potential values against inflations is just a speculation with unrealistic hypes like those values less shit coins.
The acceleration of the bitcoin price that's seemly bullishing today should be an illustration binding bitcoin as a store of values.
It doesn't also matter that pricey may flop, bitcoin is already a programmed volatile asset and through that aspect, market can be liquidated striving significant price changes.
Nevertheless, in the long run price will consolidates too gaining forces to push price forward and in regards to the price manipulations, the future remains uncertainty with an edge of gaining support despites the looks of unpredictable volatility.

In any market cycle so far, the bear market ends with Bitcoin first, bottom is confirmed by Bitcoin market before top altcoins like Ethereum following to finish their bear market, then a new bull run starts. Remember Bitcoin is the King in cryptocurrency market, and Bitcoin leads this market.

This diagram is an old one created years ago but it's true especially about Bitcoin leadership.

Volatile or not, it's not programmed but it's how the community use bitcoin, trade it, and how basically all markets are, not only limited to Bitcoin market.

Satoshi Nakamoto can not program Bitcoin as a volatile or static market, it's impossible.
With stablecoins, stablecoin companies can want their stablecoins to be stable in pegs with fiat currency value but sometimes peg lost, even severely lost.
