I have observed that whenever there is war, the ETF inflow always increases. As soon as the price of Bitcoin increases, the ETF outflow also increases. I have been monitoring it for the last six months as I created a tool that tries to predict the price of Bitcoin on various reasons and one of them is ETF inflows.

As the crude oil shock is going to hit the world in October, as KSA has stopped distributing it due to the attacks by Houthis on their pipelines and Russian getting attacked by Ukrainian drones, is it possible that we might see a big influx in ETFs and the price of Bitcoin going up?

I feel this time we might get a new ATH by October or November. BTW.. do not use your hard earned money for any luxury in these two months. Whatever you are doing now with it is okay for now.

Inflation will rise and I suspect another rise in petrol & diesel prices in India.

Even I am very much confident about the new ATH but not just within these few months. I am sure it will take sometime but I am whole heartedly ready to wait. I would also not invest my luxury money here because I already have a strict budget and I have a bigger portion for investing. I think I deserve some luxury after investing majority of my income. I can still invest if there's a dip but I already have a small DCA running so I am well prepared for the next ATH.

Petrol and diesel prices are definitely going to increase. Even now I normally pay 124rs on shell petrol pumps but on regular Indian oil or Bharat petrol pumps it is somewhere around 103 to 105rs. I was worried that the prices would skyrocket during the geopolitical tensions but that did not happen. Yes, we might see some after effects but the price increase would disrupt a few industries mostly transportation industry.

It is possible that we might see a minor rally around November, but the market will usually go down during December and the holiday months in the West.

I think Nayara Energy increased its petrol and diesel prices yesterday. This is not because of inflation, but because of the war and the rising crude oil prices resulting from it. It is only a matter of time before other companies increase their prices as well. The prices of groceries and other staples have already increased considerably, alongside vegetable prices, and another petrol and diesel hike will only worsen the current situation.

The ETF inflow on the 7th was 0. On the 6th, it was +$118.8m and on the 5th, it was $-89.8m. The sudden fall in the Bitcoin valuation today might have happened because of the ETF situation. There are other factors involved too and yet on this day in 2025, Bitcoin was above $100K. The reason behind it was again ETF inflow. It now looks more like Bitcoin valuation in USD is being controlled by the US. It will not be bad to check the upcoming US Fed on 27th and 28th October. Anyone can find out those important dates if they check my website link: Bitcoin Price Events Calendar

Yeah, I agree with you that ETF will influence BTC a lot.

ETF had +118m net inflow on 6th. However, they poured out their funds on 7th and 8th. It’s about to be 700m in 2 days. So it can easily pull the prices down with such big funds.

US institution funds through ETF are the main factors that determines BTCUSD I think. Its hard to rise BTC without the supports or against their selling. The more they buy, more prices go up.

The Fed meeting will be important on 27-28th of this month. Risk appetite can change with clear signals on interest rates. Everyday ETF inflow/outflow will be more important factor than other news until then.

Yes, the problem is that the ETF inflow has not been that consistent. There are big outflows that are causing the value of Bitcoin to tend to go sideways. I was hoping, like last year, there would be a big push, but due to global economic turmoil from the war in the Middle East and in Europe, the value of Bitcoin is not going up. I am expecting it to go down suddenly and hold on to it.

Inflows have been erratic. Huge outflows on the 7th and 8th erased momentum fast.

Risky assets arent doing well with the current geopolitical chaos. That ETF fueled rally from last year is not going to be repeated anytime soon.

I m looking for a more substantial decline than a flat consolidation. If it does happen, might as well be positioned to buy the dip.
