I am still hesitant to call this price uptrend a new bull market, but we cannot deny the fact that Bitcoin recover some of its price value after the ATH is recorded.   In the same way, I also think it is early to say that bulltrend has started since the previous history shows that bullish trend starts a few months before or after the halving event happened.

So I think this is just a price recovery, and Bitcoin market activity will mainly remain sideways, with some high-fluctuation events.

I can see a lot of people here are saying it might just be the start of another bull run, well it’s okay to think that way too, but we should also not take this few green days to be enough to confirm a sustained uptrend. I think price need to hold higher levels and also show continued strength before we can say that the market has clearly changed direction.

Yes, October has historically been a strong month for bitcoin, but at the same time the past performance should not also guarantee the same results this year. I think it’s just better if we observe and watch the actual price action and market conditions than rather assume that October will bring another major rise to a new ATH

I read on social media that many people called for Shorting Bitcoin because they thought Bitcoin no longer has enough buying demand and reasons to rise more. Likely many people believe in such Short Calling from influencers and they got forced liquidations and short squeezes recent days.

Surely one day you will be able to guess. The fact is that it's "once upon a time," it's hard to put in a certain amount of time. And it seems to be very, very early to think about stopping growth. But now, why talk about something that is not expected simply because bitcoin's growth has not really begun yet? The historical maximum has not yet been reached, but we should not be sure that the market will be able to maintain even these reached levels. A correction is also likely. I like to think that there is no permanent move with bitcoin; all moves are temporary and happening alternately, and that is exactly how the market plays with the emotions of people.

Yes, the market is looking bullish currently, but the bullish move, as we all know, will also be temporal. As an investor, it is good you prepare your mind for that reality so you do not continue to think that the market will be permanently bullish. At any point the market may take a huge slump as it usually does and then take a while to get back and past the previous ATH that it set, market behavior.

BTC price is rising, but i am not sure that signals the start of the bull run. If the price probably gets to ~$100k, then i believe we can now talk about a bull run, but right now, even though it is above $80k, it could still fall below that and then the talk of the bear market starts again. The point remains that we cannot time the market, if you want to buy BTC, 'right now' remains the best time.

I've noticed that the Bitcoin price movement is repeating itself, or it's common for it to spike in price around this time of year (September and October).
Try to look at the price graph history that made you think it's a beginning where the price goes up and reaches another ATH.

Like you said, I think this is not some temporary bounce like many would assume. It looks like history is about to repeat itself in a very unique way, but there's a great uncertainty.

This is the most difficult part of Bitcoin pricing, It's hard to say what the exact next movement for Bitcoin will be.

On my own, I feel what the market is displaying is temporary. I think our bull run for the next all-time high isn't supposed to happen this year, It will happen next year. Until then, I'm speculating a bearish downtrend after reaching a temporary price high. After enduring the first bearish phase that took us down to $50K, we will not see such prices again, $60K will be our last bottom if the market switches to bearish.

If it's the current skyrocket that bitcoin shown, that's the temporary because it's about to balance that and it has to be pulled back. And to be specific, people are looking for an asset that is a hedge for the higher inflation that we see. Even the greatest economies are also struggling right now, call it like with Japan and the USA. These two are great countries with larger economies compared to the rest of the world and yet, their currencies are struggling and weakening. I think in the global setting, the play for the oil is still a huge thing that can't be ignored by these. If peace comes with Iran, maybe they can push back and their currencies and economies will recover.

Perhaps it's more appropriate to evaluate this move as much as by how fast Bitcoin goes up as how it goes after the hype and excitement have abated. It would be better that buyers are supporting the price when the price is pulling back rather than having one strong rally. Also, be mindful that the price can rapidly reverse course once it has been leveraged, so I would pay attention to the extent of the spot demand. As of now, I believe it's too early to state it's a new bull market.

Yep, Bitcoin pumping hard in the short term is not enough to say this is uptrend we have been waiting for. But then again, do not rule anything out. The market keep changing. It is not gonna follow some fixed pattern all the time.

Better to be ready for a few different scenario than just guess one and put all your expectations on it. imo.

We are in a consolidation phase; we can't get carried away and start talking about six-figure numbers this year, but we will undoubtedly end up closer to the 90,000 or 100,000 mark than to the 40,000 you’re venturing to mention. If you don't trust a figure, simply don't cite it—40,000 is possible but unlikely; therefore, I believe clinging to that price model is a classic short-seller tactic.

One should not buy into that sort of prerogative; they should be ignored—especially in the absence of a TA.

I am very happy for taking actions when Bitcoin was at 59k, now I took alot of profits at 87k to be precise, those who said this market can't be predicted don't that the right tools for it lol.

Market makers are playing their games again, and the latest is dragging retailers into the market again to make them feel like the bull market is starting, and they start to get liquidated.

Yesterday over 250k in dollars was liquidated on longs, I knee that was coming lol, now we are likely going back to 72k before moving up again, will probably be the last buying opportunity too.

The best solution is to never take a side, DCA when you can and always have some dollars kept aside for buying the dips.

What is this analysis based on? I for one can't get any read on which way bitcoin's price will swing although I will agree that with what the world is currently going through a DIP won't be very unlikely, my worry is on the recovery, it will most likely happen but probably after a long while while the world's economy gets itself back in order.
Let's hope it doesn't drop too low though, alot of people can get discouraged with a drop after this seeming recovery especially since the last ATH is still a ways away from where the price currently is.

We can say people are running to safety by investing in bitcoin because of the increase in US debt and how the purchasing power of the dollar is also decreasing, but let's not forget "Uptober", next month, happens to be among the months bitcoin is known to perform well in history. How about we also look at it from the point where short-term investors are accumulating aggressively in preparation for "Uptober"? That can also be another explanation for the recent price movement.

That's also another plausible reason behind the sudden Bitcoin rise recently. Bitcoin is sitting at $83k with visible volatility within a short term, that shows how liquid the market has gotten recently. Next month should be a bullish month in my opinion, though there should be no big expectations as it could also be an unexpected market movement.

When Bitcoin was going downtrend there where times of weak dollar as well that didn't really influence it, now Bitcoin is about or already in a rally there's no need to blame it in a weak dollar, it's just doing what it normally does. With this aggression I'm not sure the rally is temporary, but if it is, they the weak dollar is what influence the temporary upward movement
