Personally it's easy to say it all comes down to how casinos and developers tend to promote a new game on their platforms. Because whenever new slots are released, they are often on the front page, and most times they even give out free spins just to draw the attention of gamblers. But then if by chance the casino succeeded to actually draw the attention of users then folks will naturally want to play, and since there are so many people it's natural to see more wins. Because of that old slots tend to have less attention with few players so yep big wins become very rarely seen. So it's not actually the casino's fault it's just their way of making improvements so that their business can keep moving while offering more excitement to gamblers with new features like slots and so on that's all......

If you look at it closely, older slots are not even promoted like that. But you can see a new slot today with the way they promote it. The adverts, the free spins, free bonuses all that attracts people. And the more people in a slot the more wins you see because they are trying to promote themselves. When a slots win more, more people will come to play it. So thr newer slots are just playing a psychological game very well. It doesn't mean the old slots are not paying. Crowd is a bonus.

My experience with slots - I play mostly those that are marked as popular. I have never had a favorite slot that I have market as favorite and played only it on purpose. However, I dont know what really is old slots. Slots seems to be identical, and there are so many different slots by design, that all of them look «new» to me. To be honest, even old looking slots or classics lemon/777/watermelon/plum/cherry/peach are still popular and are active. I think that means there are almost no old slots.

In my opinion we just need to separate the age of the slot itself from its design.  The classic fruit-machine style doesn’t really tell you how old a slot is. Providers simply combine the old-school style with modern graphics, bonus rounds, and new features.
But at the same time, there are actually quite a lot of genuinely old slots, and some of them are still popular today.

Timelessly, the modalities that we feel very comfortable to do with can't be underrated in cases of this kind choice making.
Normally, older casino's will be preferable not until you began to experience some odds differences that doesn't suit your affordable to endure anymore and then, you can decide to try others just to find one that's most convince able among other's.
Where you finds winnings is definitely were you'd prefer and apart winning and easy terms of withdrawal and deposit what else do you expect from a casino to feel good with it? I believe this has more to do with bias rather than the age of the slot.

Slots operate with RNG that is independent (new game, new RNG each spin) and the RTP is preset by the provider and will not change based on the game's age. In fact, old and new slots are both as "fresh" as always when you spin, so there is no "tired" slot!

The more likely explanations are a small sample size when playing older slots (just short-term variance), or that newer slots are actually designed to feel more "appealing" when released, making them seem more generous. Oh, and then there's confirmation bias from the community, they see huge payouts from new slots that are hyped up more and the losses remain under the radar.

Does the release date make any difference to performance? From a mathematical standpoint, no. RNG and RTP are independent of a game's age; what determines short-term results is only volatility and luck.

As I recall, when Gates of Olympus Super Scatter was first released, people complained a lot about the difficulty of getting big wins. If I am not mistaken, this forum also discussed the same issue. For now, I don't know other people's experiences with the game, as I don't see many streamers playing it anymore. Personally, I don't really follow or play newly released slot games. I only play older ones, which I spend more time with.

Be it old slots or new slots i don't really think that they actually matter, in terms of advancements there is a clear distinction between them but there are no chances of winning either one of them more than the other, both rare solely based on luck to win. One thing about gambling is timing, just because some set of gamblers find it challenging to get big wins from a particular slot game doesn't mean that others have made such wins. As for streamers that don't play it anymore I think the reason is because they were pnly promoting the game based on business.
