Is crypto really crypto anymore, or did it just become a new banking system?

We were promised peer‑to‑peer money, decentralization, and freedom from fiat.

Instead we got:
– exchanges acting like banks
– stablecoins acting like digital dollars
– hoarding instead of spending
– everything priced in USD
– “lock it up for 10 years” instead of “use it”

Crypto was dropped as a test.
Humans failed that test.

So I’m asking honestly:
Is crypto still crypto… or did it become the very thing it was supposed to replace?

well it is not a peer to peer item for sure.

I used it as money from 2012 to 2016 and got fucked hard.

as I did not hodl or dca I used it as cash.


So oh well.
