To be honest, nowadays people don't like reading much longer article about a gambling site because they feels it is too bulky or either wasting their time. They want an concise information that strictly speak about the gambling site and things that are involved, this is the reason why many people find it difficult to cope with gambling rules and regulation and many people often fall victim of some gambling site.

Not anymore, I think when I was new I was keen into reading those long form articles when I want to learn about specifics of online gambling.

Mostly with the reviews but if they're just like marketing materials and contents, I don't think that people will still be interested in reading those.

I remember when one looked for some info and the results where entries in blogs written by real people who cared about the subject. The articles where well written, on point, and with practically no advertising.

Nowadays it seems that all the articles that search engines return are made following the same pattern: an almost always similar length, a lot of information that is not very relevant, as well as ads, both explicit and implicit, and in the end, hopefully, maybe they answer the question you wanted to solve, or maybe not.

There are people who enjoy reading long articles, I am not one of them, and I guess there are many others like me or should I say that most people I know don't like reading articles, there was a time where new Blockchain projects are hiring writers to write about their projects on medium and other article platforms and most of the times the viewers aren't always much, it gets to a point that they had to stop it all because it's not helpful as they thought, with gambling it's more or less the same thing, it's why you won't find alot of articles about a specific casino online, reviews and news are always short and readable for me but that doesn't mean they are genuine, there are many fake and paid reviews online.

These people must be those book worms but I don't think these people are also into gambling for them to read a gambling article. A lot of people in the room are correct, when they say that gamblers are not built for reading but they are built for gambling/playing. But there may be players/video gamers that are also like to read interesting articles related on their hobby. Maybe the only way for a gambler to read an article is if they are quitting their habit because they got addicted, or if they are that trying to keep things serious and now looks for in-depth guides/strategies to try to win more often.

Maybe they hire the wrong people and that is why the article is not interesting to read? But articles on a crypto coin are more often. It make sense, as a crypto project can go deep as a casino. So it needs a serious attention if one wants to get successful at them.

If you ask me, I’ll say the biggest difference is whether the article would actually teach me something I couldn’t easily just get from the casino’s review. The only time long form contests becomes useful is when it provides original data, proper analysis/research and/or explains the reason behind a particular trend, and not just when what it does is fill the whole space with keywords.
In conclusion, if removing the SEO keywords would actually make the article less valuable, the. It sure wasn’t written for readers in the first place.

I for one do not like long form articles for gambling sites  Although there could be exceptions for things like security breaches just like what we recently experienced with duelbits. This type of articles can carry details that could be helpful. I am very curious about things that involve cyber security also I will be patient enough to read through the long form article but in general, I believe that shirt form straight to the point articles are better and gets more attention. But exceptions can be made for dmcertain circumstances

First off, I visited your site, the graphics on the landing page is so heavy that it takes forever to load, I like that you give users the choice to read the full article of any that moves their interest, but the formatting of the reading page isn't professional, you need to increase the width of the news container not so it spans more horizontal space and not appear longer than it should and bore the reader.

I judge it by how much detail it carries on the subject and how it is straight to the point and not just one ambiguous and boring read.

The length of your article doesn't matter whether short or long but what matters is the rich contexts and important information in it. I find it difficult to read casino ToS that is lengthen. I just do a fast skimming through to get the important information that I am interested in. You should know the urge that comes with gambling, no one will love to start reading a lengthy article at that time.

I am of the opinion that most gamblers would not settle for article because they will see it as a waste of time reading long stories and literature which does not add value to their engagements bit rather they would prefer reviews because that is people's experiences with casinos and platforms they play with and it is a first hand knowledge about the stay and take about the platform compared to articles.

Yes, I would like to see is content regarding technology and market trend. You can write article about crypto payment rail. Layer 2 and Lightning Network usage in casino, mechanism of provably fair game or changes in regulatory rule and their impact, etc would be interesting to read.

Data driven research and statistic are not bad at all, you could focus on actual RTP figure, volatility analysis for Hacksaw or Pragmatic etc.

From gamblers point of view, we do not really need wall of text article, short reviews and news are more than enough for gamblers.
I do think the same from the casino's point of view, what they need is marketing and promotion in order to make people aware about their existence.

LuckAtlas, if you want to attract attention to your site where you promote casino referral links then you dont even need article or news section, as people wont read them anyway. Better fill your page either with entertainment content, or try to get special offers for your site visitors from casinos. If people want to read articles or news, they will go to sites where content is about everything and not only about gambling. Times when site owners filled their sites with articles and copy/pasting news are gone. In the end, you want to promote your referral links, not be an articles writer. I think there is a big chance that you will get bored with searching info and writing content; one day you will drop it and abandoned site sections wont look cool.

Yes, I do read long-form casino related content, but only when they're about something that really needs an in-depth explanation, like a tutorial. But, if it's about reviews, I don't really read long-form casino reviews, I only see the ratings section and the part that I need to know specifically, for example withdrawal, promo, and bonus.

IMO, it's just not necessary and a waste of time to read long-form reviews when in the end what you see as more important is reviews from players who have tried it.

Other types of content like you mentioned above are also not necessary for players who just want to play. Even for players who somewhat need it. AI has already shifted users' behavior in finding information. If the page you offer doesn't show the info users want in the first 5-10 secs, maybe they will switch to another page or AI.

But if long-form content is needed for SEO or GEO, then at least post a summary or table of contents at the beginning of your content. It's possibly the most win-win condition for website owners (can still do it for SEO and GEO purposes) and users (who want to get information from your website).

Above all, write about bonuses, players still spend time reading such topics, but don't make it longer than 500 words, at most, 350 words with a sprinkle of two images and 4 subtopics, this format improves the article's readability and makes your content concise.
