WHAT IT IS
NEV369 is a independent blockchain I wrote from scratch in Rust. Every transaction is signed with Dilithium5, a post-quantum signature scheme (NIST security level 5).
- Hashing: SHA3-512 → BLAKE3 → SHA3-512
- Wallets: Argon2id + AES-256-GCM encryption
- Networking: libp2p

SPECS
- Proof of work, mined on a normal CPU
- 60-second blocks
- 369 NEV per block, halving every 437,000 blocks (~303 days)
- Max supply: 369,369,369 NEV
- Mineable: 322,469,369 NEV (87.3%)
- Launched: 27 September 2026

THE PREMINE (12.7%)
- 36,900,000 NEV is my daughter's vault, locked by the chain itself until 28 July 2039. Every node rejects any spend from it before then.
- 10,000,000 NEV is mine, to fund development.
Since launch, every block has been mined by my own machines, because nobody else knew it existed yet. That's why I'm posting. No ICO, nothing for sale, not listed anywhere.

HOW TO MINE
Windows: download nev369-windows-x86_64.zip from the Downloads link, unzip it, and double-click START-MINING.cmd. Windows will warn because the files aren't signed yet: click "More info" then "Run anyway", and allow network access.

Mac / Linux / Chromebook, in a terminal:

The first run creates your wallet. Back up the wallet file and remember the password. There is no recovery.

DON'T TRUST ME, VERIFY
The code includes a checker that rebuilds the genesis block and re-checks every block on the live chain:

HONEST STATUS
- It's days old, with one public node. More nodes and miners are exactly what it needs.
- No independent security audit yet.
- The Ethereum bridge is built but not live.
