y lost his precious $210
What’s your take on this and what kind of malware could be this ?
Each time i copy and paste wallet addresses directly from the source, i don't know where some people go to collect addresses, past histories, or from the address book, that is not a healthy way to make a payment from our wallet.

Most devices can be affected by malware without anyone noticing, just to be careful, cross-check before sending, and if it is a familiar address, we should be able to detect any differences or changes in the address.
Some could just get it from their previous transaction history or they cope it from where they might have saved it but it's actually wrong, although i haven't experience any changes in my deposit address before but a friend has told me that it use to happen but not often as the op said.

What i do to avoid any unnecessary mistakes because mistakes can happen i copy directly from the source just as you said and then paste it and i will still confirm very well before proceeding, i think this is how one can be able to avoid losing unnecessary funds.

I haven't heard such, or experience any. This could be a serious problem, because at this point, who would he hold responsible? If it's Binance, it's proper they might have send a message, giving a notification of the change. But if it's a third party trying to play some games, I believe Binance should also have sent messages to the acount registered email address, raising alarm of the possible changes and requesting a go ahead order for the change.

I don't think a reputable exchange company like Binance will go so low to defraud a customer just like this. Well, I don't know, but something must be wrong somewhere. One really needs to be careful while transferring funds. Copy and recheck before proceeding.

I saw a user on X complaining that Binance changed his deposit address from his original deposit address and that lead to him sending money to a different address entirely thinking it was his address. I’m assuming this could be a malware attack but why I am really surprised is that I’ve never seen Any case like this before. The user also made a Screen record of how the deposit address was changing so I wonder if he knew about this compromised and went ahead to ignore it and deliberately lost his precious $210

What’s your take on this and what kind of malware could be this ?

Here is the link to the screen record.
Note; always reconfirm deposits address and don’t just assume you have them on your transaction history
Am just hearing about this for the first time since I have been into crypto currency, but I don't think it's possible for one's deposit address to be changed at any moment in time.

Someone's deposit address is just like a bank account number that will never change, even though the account is being in active, closed or blocked.

Am not sure if it's will be possible like the way SIM cards are being transferred to another user after some time of being in active, but seriously I think it will not be possible to change one's address.

If it's being done that way it wouldn't make any sense at all, because it involves funds and some people sometimes do save their funds for a very long time without checking their wallet at all, and if that should be the case it is likely to endanger one's finance.

I've seen the screen recording. It's very likely that his phone was hacked. I can't believe he noticed that something was off and still went ahead to make the transaction without contacting support to confirm or trying with a different device.
It’s actually a good practice to always copy your address from the source I won’t argue that. But in this context copying from the source doesn’t safe you from this kind of attack just as you can see from this user. It was his source deposit address that was being changed, so I think not just about copying from source but also paying attention to detail is important.

Yes, I didn't say copying from source blindly is always the way to go. It is the best way to do it on a phone that has not been hacked or infected with a virus. From the screen recording, we can clearly see that the address was changing continuously, as if the attackers were forcibly injecting an address. For me, that is enough for my alarms to go off, and I'd have to contact support to confirm if that is normal behaviour.

Did the address change inside Binance app or it changed somewhere between copying it and making the transaction because those are two different situations. If it was on the Binance app that a different deposit address was shown, the best security measure is to contact customer support and get clarification before depositing on it again. However, if the address changed after copying it from the Binance app, it simply means the user is under clipboard malware attack. Whichever way, it's important not to blindly trust an old deposit address because anything can happen.

That exactly what am suspecting, but I don't thinking coming to conclusions that it was the Malware is teh best. I have never seen any cases like this before, but this is technology we may actually experiencing strange things, it maybe either from the copying error or something related, but if at all this is true, then there's need to contact supporters or the Binance management to rectify the issues and what causes it. In my own opinion, it's better we should always not relay on our old addresses, confirming it before sending funds through it is the best, though the $210 maybe small to some people and it may be painful to some people when losing it which the Binance supporters need to work on.

I have not witnessed exchange changing their customers address to a new one. This might just be a malware attack and it is mistaken for address change by exchange. But however if something like this happen, it should be on an old dumant exchange that has not been used for Long. But if nothing of such happen and the exchange intentionally did that without it informing the their customer then the exchange would be held accountable for it.
