What is BLOCK?BLOCK is a post-quantum Layer-1 whose consensus accepts a parent block's proof-of-work from
any major ASIC algorithm in place of a native solution. Point your SHA-256, Scrypt, X11, Equihash, Blake2b, Blake2s, Blake3, Eaglesong, or kHeavyHash hardware at it — every share works for the parent chain
and for BLOCK. No extra hashes, no extra power.
Ten independent proof-of-work lanes, each with its own LWMA difficulty, so an S19 never competes with an L7:
- native Equihash (200,9) — Zcash-class hardware connects directly
- sha256d · scrypt · x11 · equihash · blake2b · blake2s · blake3 · eaglesong · kheavyhash parent proofs (Namecoin-shaped AuxPoW, chain id 16972)
Specifications- Ticker: BLOCK
- Consensus: multi-algorithm merged mining (AuxPoW) + native Equihash (200,9), per-lane LWMA difficulty
- Block time: 10 minutes (combined across lanes)
- Reward: 50 BLOCK, halving every 210,000 blocks (~21M mined cap)
- Premine: 210,000 BLOCK (1% of mined cap, genesis block, project treasury)
- Coinbase maturity: 100 blocks
- Signatures: ML-DSA-44 (post-quantum, NIST FIPS 204)
- Privacy: STARK shielded pool — hidden-amount transfers, ML-KEM-768 encrypted note delivery, viewing keys, payment disclosures
- Contracts: Blockle VM with gas + Blockle Script compiler
- Genesis: 069209f0e9e7cb0188975b2bfa0dfa1f7b0a76c0c3ac1da6e091afd263954b4e (mainnet live, real blocks being mined now)

Mine BLOCK right now — 18 pools, 1% fee, no registrationUsername = your BLOCK address (get one from the wallet), password = x. Solo pays
your address directly in the coinbase — the pool never holds your funds. PPLNS settles on-chain automatically after maturity.

Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, eCash, Syscoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin and Dash are syncing on our infrastructure; each auto-launches as a 1%-fee pool that merge-mines BLOCK into every block — mine the major, earn BLOCK for free (ports 3350-3356). Hush (Equihash) and Verge (Blake2s) parents are syncing too.

LinksHonest statusPrototype-grade and fully open source, proven by 90+ Rust/Python integration tests over real sockets: merged blocks accepted from all nine parent algorithms, solo coinbases paying finders, PPLNS ledgers settling on-chain, P2P wallet sync, STARK shielded transfers, VM contracts. Not yet shaken down against live ASIC firmware (byte-order quirks possible — report on Discord and we'll fix fast). Kaspa/Nervos/Alephium native-structure parent proofs are roadmap; their hardware mines BLOCK via the direct pools today. No ICO, no token sale — mine it.
Every share counts twice.
