Did Bitcoin indirectly pave the way for the crypto casino industry ?

We can't be talking about crypto currencies today with mentioning Bitcoin. So I agree with you that it's Bitcoin that paved the way for crypto gambling when it comes to the gambling industry. As Bitcoin became more popular alot of sector's tried to inculporate it into their system, and the gambling industry is one of it. Before now funding of your betting account online  was an issue but with the inception of Bitcoin it paved the way for crypto gambling to take over as it was more faster, smarter and more easier for gamblers.

I definitely agre with you on that...For we Nigerians, it is more difficult have access to foreign casino which dosen't accept Naira for deposits..And with such casino one would have to deal with issues like delayed deposit, network fluctuations, conversion delays and whatnot...But Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general has very much made all this more easier and so you don't have to deal with any of those issues..We have borderles payments system where the gambler doesn't even need to be a citizen of that country or even have the country's currency before they can make use of that platform...Gamblers can easily fund their casino account by sending some amount of crypto without having to depend on traditional banking channels which isn't always trustworthy due to network issues...And this has made everything more flexible and very convenient for many of us that are trying to access casino platforms that are outside of our country of residence...

Sometimes, I wonder if crypto, or Bitcoin hadn't existed, crypto casinos probably wouldn't be as popular as they are today. Maybe, people would simply engage in more traditional gambling practices, like playing at casinos, where deposits are complicated, rather than using crypto.

That’s what people are definitely going to engage in, but right now even the traditional gambling sites are advancing, they are already integrating easy deposit and withdrawal, you can easily connect your bank account and make deposits and withdrawal easily. But if there is no crypto casino sites, maybe they wouldn’t have advanced to the current level, because there won’t be more competition. If there is no bitcoin, everyone will have just stick to the gambling platform which is popular in their country.
