I disagree with this mindset because I am not even sure if my plans are right haha. What if my plan was wrong from the start, and I am following it regardless of the profit, loss, or any outcome it gives me? If I am not improving my plan and not finding the reason after a losing trade, that means I am stubborn and will test my plan 100th times just to be profitable.

My mother used to say that when we cook in bulk, we only take one bite to taste if the food is good. We don't have to eat it all to be sure if the taste is the same or not. We can judge things from one trade. We don't have to do it 100th times.

We just have to be sure that our plan is fine. If not, then improvising is important.

Beginners and those that simply take trading as a gamble don't really care if they break important rules, the only thing they are interested in Is making profit, this is the reason why they judge a trade based on the profits made and on other factors like plan or strategy, following risk management. If you have a plan you have set out to follow and then for some reasons you stop following this all because you are too eager to make profit it's possible that you might not losing but repeating such would put you on the losing side in the long run.

We all trade with the goal of making a profit, regardless of the individual approaches we use. In my opinion, good trading is when everything is measured meaning it doesn’t exceed our limits, especially in terms of risk. We must remember that potential profit is always directly proportional to risk, when you want to make a big profit, there’s bound to be significant risk lurking. The question now is, are you willing to bear that risk or not? If not, then this approach is unsuitable for you because it exceeds your risk tolerance. Whether an approach is good or bad depends on your ability to accept risk.
