Based on my understand it's doesn't matter how so long you hold your bitcoin what matters the most is your strategy.

No you are wrong, how long you hold your bitcoin determines how profitable you will be, even though there is no guarantee of making profit. But I’m basing judgement on the records available over the past years. The method you used in accumulating bitcoin has nothing to do with how profitable you will be. The different methods are there so investors can go with any option that’s convenient for them so safely invest in bitcoin.

The method used in accumulating bitcoin can have an impact on how profitable an investor will be in the future.
Bitcoin past record has proven that it rewards long term holders more than short term traders, however this is not a guarantee that it will remain same in the future. Another thing that will affect profit is the price an investor make their purchase. So it is possible for two people that are holding bitcoin the same numbers of years to get different results, because of price difference and the quantity of bitcoin they accumulated over the years.  It is good to buy bitcoin using a strategy that will suit one's financial situation without putting someone into financial pressure.

You are right that the strategy that seems more logical to us may not give good results in the future. In particular, some investors look at the issue of Bitcoin investment from different perspectives. Long- terms investors can't be guarantee hundred percent profit, because the market is volatile and unpredictable, which can rise and fall at anytime, but investing for a longer period of time can increase possibility of profit , but that  doesn't assure returns. If we go by the performance of bitcoin since it was introduced till now, I will say that there are no losses for long term investors. The problem with most investors is that they don't know what being a long term investor mean. Some people thinks that if you HODL bitcoin for like a year or two that you are a long term investor but it is not true. Before you can call yourself a long term investor, you must have invested and HODL for like 10 years and above because when you invest and HODL for that long interval, there will be low chances of losing because by that time the price of bitcoin must have increased above X2 of the price it was when you bought.

What I'm trying to point out is that people should know what it means to invest with what you can afford to lose, this rule only applies to what you are buying at one particular point in time and not what you've bought over time so whenever you are buying bitcoin you should make sure to not go beyond what you can handle so you don't end up needing that particular money for something else.
So when we are talking about buying with what you can afford to lose, we are only talking about individual buys and not your entire portfolio.

Yeah, this is very valid. I think it's a common thing for people to think about an entire Bitcoin investment_(portfolio) when they hear something like "using a funds that you can afford to lose", rather than thinking about what they can afford to use at a regular interval. I don't think anybody would be willing to lose their entire portfolio... Every investor only has one thing in mind aside profits, and that's not to lose their investment.

But again, having a decent discretionary income in this part of the world where the currency value isn't that strong compared to the US dollar, automatically means that a person needs to have a decent job, or perhaps, more than one source of income if possible. This is very important, the problem with a lot of investors is that they think just because there's a high chance of making profits from bitcoin investment after holding for a long term means borrowing from different places is the right step to take then they are already taking the wrong route. Bitcoin investment should only be made with discresionary income and not an amount of money that is borrowed because this could actually lead to losses. The reason why a lot of people end up selling their coins is because they invest an amount of money that they cannot afford to lose either because it's borrowed or meant for something important, that's why they up selling their coins.
