I feel like that has already happened. The number of instant swaps services are increasing for example. I can't imagine they can keep doing that if the market doesn't respond well to them. Their promotion on forum through sigs or banners are also massive. That being said, we'll still have issues with fiat-crypto swaps if convenience is what a user is looking for.

I've tried various services and so far they works well. Not suitable for traders, though.

Traders are the worst, complicating the issues, as I have seen from other suggestions together with yours, because I see no reason why I will have to make use of a centralized exchange knowing the implications, when they still can't afford to make use of a decentralized one or an instant swap. What is the main thing that exchanges keep using to deceive traders to retain their presence on their platform over time?

I think he is referring to people that are trading frequently. The swap services do not have derivative markets and margin trading. Also anyone that is trading spot for scalping will not like swap service. I only use swap service when I want to buy a coin and hold it for long. But when I want to trade on derivatives market, I use common centralized exchanges.

AntiSwap.io - NO AML/KYC EXCHANGER MONITORING

There is one crucial difference to be noted here: One does not necessarily have to be non-custodial in order to be one of the no KYC types. However, the deposit address might still be under an instant swap service's control. Which can choose to release the exchanged funds. Smart contract risks, network fees, and liquidity are also important considerations when it comes to on chain DEXs. I would look into how swaps work, how they would deal with flagged swaps and if it was explained. It's convenient to know who controls the money, but it's more important to know.

So far I have used two non custodial swaps or you say instant exchanges, that are running signatures on the forum and in my case I have got satisfying results in both, It took almost 30 45 minutes to complete swaps. And the two instant exchanges you mentioned may be very popular but I have not seen them running signatures since I joined the forum, so maybe they are less familiar to me.
And I am currently using a centralized exchange to swap coins regularly. But from what I saw on another forum, many centralized exchanges are freezing users accounts. So now I am trying to shift to an instant exchange regularly. Although the swap fee here is a bit high, I will try not to swap large amounts.

Instant swap exchanges are kind of new but the swap like changelly or ChangeNOW have been here for long enough and they don't need their promotions or not sure if they ever ran it here.

But instant swap exchanges are lot better and they just need one confirmations for btc deposit and instantly swap them to the required pair and the wait time depends on the confirmation time and blockchain, the swap is literally instant.

same setup here more or less. changelly through ledger live most of the time, changenow if the rate's better on whatever pair i need. i used to compare every time but on normal swap sizes the gap is usually too small to care about, so i mostly gave up

the wait time thing catches everyone. first time i swapped BTC to something i sat there refreshing convinced something had gone wrong 😭 turned out it was just waiting on bitcoin confirmations. ~10 min a block and you need more than one
There is a Bitlist directory, bro. You can find many no kyc swap, no-AML swaps there. Also, there are several other directories too that you can visit like the following ones:

https://bitlist.co/
https://kycnot.me/
https://monerica.com/

There are more but these are the ones I trust more and there is kycnotlist too, but these three are enough. Most of these have almost all swaps listed that you can use and you can also visit their respective ANN threads on Bitlist, and you can see what the latest talks are on the projects on the latest pages.

Let me break it down a bit. The two instant exchanges I used are dex.fo and b1exch.to, If these are called instant swap exchanges, then what are ChangeNow or Changely called? Are these also instant exchanges or are they in a different category? The reason for saying this is because since these two platforms check AML, they may ask you for KYC verification if any transaction seems suspicious.

Instant swap exchanges and swap exchanges, that is how we should differentiate them and not every instant exchanges also comes with no KYC policy, the user should know that the exchanges record logs or it is completely private. But the modern era instant swap exchanges are KYC free.
