Parents has a lot to play, but do you know that many parents know that their child is into fraudulent things like scam and something criminal? Especially scam? If you do not know, that is just the truth. If the parent are not rich and have suffered a lot in life, especially those mothers, they might even be the one that will help their children in some aspect of the scam businesses that they are into.

I agree with you because even most times you will see a child of about 15 to 20 years old that isn't doing anything tangible job will be driving a costly Benz worth millions of naira and their parents wouldn't question the source of the money used in purchasing such an expensive car. Sometimes most of them even build houses for their parents and this things continue like that. So in essence, some parents are indeed the major causes of the negative energy going on in our society. Perhaps, assuming they were doing what is expected of them as parents or guardians their children wouldn't be doing dirty stuff just to feel among.

I do not think I should blame the government, but they contribute. The reason I will not totally blame them is because in countries that have good government, there is still crime and scam in such country. Also people should not totally depend on the government.

The government also has their own shortcomings and I just don't want to talk about it because theirs is even more annoying. Maybe, if they were doing the needful by making jobs opportunity available, graduate wouldn't be this stranded the way they are. However, i know we don't have to completely wait for the government to do everything for us but they can probably provide a softer ground than this, at least that will be more better than it is.

With the high rate of increase in crime in the society this days, i have not listened to any news any day without hearing casualty being recorded within the 36 states across Nigeria and for that, i decided to highlight these few factors that people might be thinking is the course of crimes happening every blessed day.

Factors that can cause an increasment of crimes in the society
(1)Bad government
(2)Laziness
(3)Given birth to so much children that you can't take proper care

There are many factors that might cause an increasment of crimes in the society but i choose to mention the few factors because i feel like this is the major causes that should be looking into because bad government has it own role to play in the society, when there is a bad government nothing seems to work, then laziness is when people refuse to push forward in one business or handwork constantly to succeed but will just choose to be involved themselves in smoking different hard substances, that will useless their life's and befor could know it, the mindset of building for the future will not be there, and they will start stealing and killing to make money, the last factors seems to have the major causes of an increasment of crimes in this generation, a parent that gives birth to children and they can send those children to school or engage them in hardwork, before you could know those children will grown up constituting  crimes in the society.

Yes, I agree with you that things have gone out of hand and the crime rate in the country now is beyond what it uses to be some years back but I won't lay the blames on the government because it's a collective efforts from the parents to train and nurture their children very well so they can blend into the society without causing nuisance, the government is not trying in terms of making policies that will ease hardship in the country but that doesn't mean the Youths will go about committing crimes and stealing in other to survive, no I don't subscribe to that.

I can't say the Youths are lazy because I know Nigerian Youths are very hard working, so I can say that the birth rate is high which affects the parents because they can't fend for the children and they end up becoming criminals and kidnappers so they can survive the hardship in the country, bad government has an influence too but not much to when parents can't provide and take care of their children.

My father is a man that always want to know how his children make their money. When I didn't know how to trade a coin or token on a centralized exchange yet, I sent a token to my cousin brother to help me trade it and convert it to Naira. When my cousin brother finished trading the token and converted it to Nigeria, he brought the money to my house, but I wasn't in the house to take the money from him so he gave the money to my mother, so when I came back my father told me that my cousin brother brought money for me, and he asked me which kind of business did I and my cousin brother did that made him to bring money for me, and I told him my cousin brother helped me to trade a token for me, that's when my father believe I and my cousin brother didn't engage ourselves into fraudulent activities. The ways my parents brought me up help me not to involve myself into fraudulent activities so I agree parents has a big row to play in the lives of their children to ensure they behave well and avoid crime.

When ever the topic is about spoilt children or a failed generation the cause can always be traced back down to the parent who gave those children the leverage of doing whatever they like without questioning them properly. I don't know about other but the kind of parents I grew up with will always question whatever doesn't sit right with them and that helped me avoid some silly mistakes that I would have given access to in my life. Sometimes their decision might be unclear but to you because they are making it from a wide rage of experience that you can only get after which you have made those mistakes over the years.

I think the government really needs to enact birth control laws in this country because it baffles me when I see many children on the streets begging under sun and rain. The wealthy people in the society gives birth to few children even though they have enough money and resources to take care of many children but I still don't understand the logic in giving birth to many children by poor people. Gone are those days when our fore fathers gave birth to many children so that they will have enough labourers who can take care of their farm lands, we are no longer in the stone age so couples should learn to give birth to few numbers of children.

3 children is okay for a family even if they're all one gender. Bad government contributed to the rise in crimes among youths but let's not forget that charity begins at home. If those children were well trained and nurture by their parents, they won't chose crime as the only way to make a living. The country is hard but there are people who are surviving without indulging in crimes. A bad government should never be an excuse to the increase in crime because it has to do with the mindset of the individuals who commits those crimes.

I believe things wouldn't have escalated the way it is now if we had a good government and a better country economy. Talking about giving birth to so many children by the poor people the rich also gave birth to many children but since we don't see them beg on the street we only thought that it's the poor that use to born many children because we see most of them begging in the streets.

Actually people are to use their common sense now, the country economy is bad and things are highly expensive, any man who don't have much to care of his family can only give birth to children he can be able to train and take good care of, instead of giving birth here and there and expect the government to help that's never possible.
