Is there anything wrong with chasing level/rank increases ?

As somebody who played RPG for the majority of my childhood days, I would say that... it's almost the same.
In an RPG, you'll spend time and some money in order to rank up. In online casinos, you need money in order to level up your account.

In this case, you need to wager more money to rank up your level and potentially hit the VIP status. There's nothing wrong with that AS LONG AS you're only spending the money that you're willing to lose. The problem with the gamblers who has this mindset of levelling up their account is that they're spending way too much money just to rank up, and some are disappointed if the rewards that they're getting doesn't meet their expectations.

Also, some are even addicted into gambling because of this kind of mindset. Since you want to level up, you'll spend more money, and the more you spend money, the more your mindset changes and instead of just levelling up, it's also possible that you're goal is to make more money therefore you will be getting addicted into it.

Nothing wrong with levelling up your account as long as your spending money you can afford to lose but aside from that, it's a no-no.

I believe that perspective and comparison you are sharing with us is not actually right. I believe it is rather destructive for the majority of people who gamble.

VIP ranks and levels on casinos are supposed to be obtained naturally and passively, without paying attention to it, otherwise, I would lead to gamblers gambling not for fun, but for the sake of increasing their level and VIP status on the casino in question.

In Roleplay games you don't necessarily need to deposit money and risk money in order to get more levels, on casinos you are required to do it. That is a huge difference.

It is a big misconception to spend a lot of time gambling, if you want to get VIP rank then you have to gamble with a lot of money. Where you have to gamble like millionaires gamble and thus your rank may change after gambling for a long time, but in my opinion changing rank like this is not a good idea at all.
It can have a huge negative impact on your family, if you have to gamble with the entire amount of money you earn. If you are a low income person then this is like a dream for you, so it is best not to chase after increasing the rank.

I don't think it's wrong but, that can only be wrong if it's affecting your daily life. And that means when you're also affecting your job, your family and even your finances then it's not worth it to chase the levels in your casino accounts. But if you've shown that you're responsible enough and you can balance all of those things then that's not a big deal. As for me, I don't chase it too much and that's why I gamble only for fun and whatever amount that I have in my bankroll, I stick to it. The bonuses and perks from higher levels are enticing but, I know how to control myself.

Right, there is no wrong with chasing level on casino. Some gamblers really aim for that, and its never wrong as long as they are also responsible on their part. If they are making high compensation, why not? Just risk what you can afford to lose, as gambling is losing more often than winning.

However, if you are just living paycheck to paycheck and you still find time to gamble while aiming for a level increase, that kind of mindset is very wrong. Its not only affecting your income, but also your peace of mind.

I think there are better things that you could chase and better things that you could make into another goal now than trying to get into another level in the casino because that sort of chase can put you in a dangerous position where you become addicted from chasing. Gambling should always be approached with caution especially since there is the knowledge that addiction is very possible, and it is easier to try to stay away from getting addicted than getting out of addiction itself. Many people who went ahead to chase new levels in a casino me have at the end achieved a goal of earning a new level and status in a casino but sometimes it comes at a price that they become problem gamblers, a price that is too expensive to pay sometimes.

I do not think there is wrong in chasing levels in the casino.  As long as you are gambling responsibliy and happy on what you are doing, it is all good.

When you start gambling for the sake of increasing your VIP level, you would most likely start to treat it as a game and that might lead to excessive gambling.

I believe that there are so many people who are going to take "responsible gambling" as not using urge money to gamble, but the thing is that you can use little money and still spend lots of time, especially now that you are chasing after exps, you would want to spend a lot of time gambling to increase it. So if one is not careful with how they gamble, they might get addicted to it.

For me, chasing levels at the casino isn’t all that important and for good reason. In my opinion, trying to reach those levels carries the risk of significant losses, not only will you lose money, but you’ll also waste a lot of your time. Obviously, this is in no way worth the benefits you might receive, such as bonuses, etc.

I keep it simple, if i have a budget available, i’ll gamble, if not, i’ll sit tight and wait until the next budget is available. I don’t view casino levels as something to chase, the main purpose of gambling should be entertainment, nothing is more important than that.

If reaching a higher level in a casino is important to you, for reasons such as benefits, I don't see anything wrong with that. The mistake is exceeding your own limits, risking and spending more than you can afford to achieve your goal.

Go with the last option "JUST DON'T CHASE TOO MUCH" because it's not worthy it investing so much that if you looses it will keep you a terrify lasting scare which is either you get lost of your mind, time or money that ends you regretting it.
I don't also see gambling as a place for player's to build carrier so, I wouldn't really be a fan that chases after goals that promotes my gambling ranks. I don't even know what goal I'm building to talk about being advanced except for the fact that I play for fun with the deep heart feelings of hoping to make some profits at luck.
No just any serious goal to be emphasised and I don't treat my gambling life like an investment to expect promotions. Rather, I've only been hoping to luckily HIT the jackpots some days.
