Have seen a lot of weird stuff in this forum over the years, but this is seriously something unique. If this story of yours is actually true op, I advise you to give up on contacting Satoshi immediately due to the reasons some of the posters above already mentioned.

He/She/They will not reply plain and simple. For all we know, they might still be checking this forum out without logging in or using alternate accounts at present, but you still shouldn't expect anything. Think!

You know the private key exactly or you have the private key?
What is the name of the bitcoin wallet you used?

I believe that your research should be about how to import that private key that you have, not trying to contact who is no more active on the forum, you aren't going to get a reply from Satoshi Nakamoto himself.

Don't get scammed, it's likely that you will start receiving PM on this forum right now since you have private key, do not give it up for anybody.
This is neither a lie nor a joke.

I am a Korean who does not speak English. As a retired soldier discharged at the age of 30 due to an injury, I have lived a weary life.

The past 17 years have been truly painful, as I struggled to support my family in society while living with a disability.

This is because I had to silently endure each day simply to provide for my family.

And now, 17 years later, I am here waiting for Satoshi Nakamoto.
First of all, can you please stop repeating the same thing again and again, saying that you are Korean and don't speak English? For god's sake, it's 2026, and you still think communicating in a totally text-based public forum is a problem for you when you have access to the internet where literally anything is possible. With the advent of AI, you can easily translate the posts you read, and write your posts and get their translation as well, just make sure you mention that you are using an AI model to do that to avoid getting in trouble. Or, browsers nowadays easily support translating one language to another, use these features and don't say you can't speak English.

Now, coming to your story and what you are trying to do, I do want to believe you, but part of me tells me that you are just another troll who wants to get some attention by using Satoshi's name by representing a story that can also be engaging for the readers/posters. If you are actually telling the truth, then kindly read the posts above where you are told how you can do what you are looking for, instead of again repeating the same thing that you want Satoshi to contact you or help you.

Telling me not to say that I can't speak English is a truly selfish remark.

It was two years ago, starting from 2024, that I was able to access the Bitcoin white paper translated into Korean.

Conversely, if you had to use daum.net to search only in Korean to obtain information, would you have been able to easily obtain information about Bitcoin, Satoshi, and the white paper as you do now?

Your arrogance is akin to saying that by using artificial intelligence and a translator, you can access information available only in Korean as easily as a native speaker.

Are you in that state right now?

A long time has passed.

I have a long story about purchasing Bitcoin in 2009, but I do not want to talk about it here.

Even though I told the truth, you will continue to doubt me, so I do not wish to go out of my way to explain.

I hope Satoshi sees this post.
Satoshi would never not see your message, so give up the hope.

And here's a piece of advice for you if at all you're real, don't entertain anyone who messages you claiming to be Satoshi or offering help, they'll scam you and take away your Bitcoin.

Here's also a piece of advice to anyone thinking they can take advantage of OP. You might be scammed at the end if you attempt to scam a scammer. I've heard about this scam pattern in the past, it sounds so familiar.

Hellow, Satoshi Nakamoto.

I am contacting you after a very long time.

I lost my wallet in 2009, so is there any way to recover or retrieve it?

I know the private key exactly.
If you lost your wallet in 2009. How do you know the private key ?

I am exhausted dealing with everyone who is constantly suspicious.

I will not discuss the 2009 Bitcoin wallet and password here.

Also, I will not talk about the story of Satoshi that I know here.

It does not matter if you do not believe me.

Over the past two years, I have encountered countless fake Satoshis on X and in internet communities.

I am already exhausted to the point of exhaustion.

I was simply very disappointed that there was no way to send a message to Satoshi.

Even if Satoshi is the founder of Bitcoin, he can not help you because you have control over your keys and and your wallet and it its your responsibility to keep your keys safe and if it get missing, nobody will help you and try your best not to be decieved you can get hep from people that will help you get your wallet back if you lose your seedphrase. Satoshi created bitcoin and this doesn't mean he has control over your keys

I guess you mean "i dont " know the private key.
Even if you try to memorise the private key, it is not reliable because the brain can forget anything anytime. It is best to save the private key in a place that is reliable and only you can get access to it.

The 2009 Bitcoin wallet had no password protection and it was not possible to see the private key. That's why I asked.

If @OP is not trolling he could have solved his problem.  Several reply here are very helpful in recovering Bitcoin if the owner has the private key.  So from the message of @OP I feel that he is trolling.

If in case that @OP doesn't really know his private key but he has the wallet.dat file and he knows the password of that file, he might be able to access his Bitcoin by looking for a possible compatible applicaiton for his wallet.  Just make sure to multi-copy the wallet.dat in different places for back up.

You can check this link: https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/blob/master/doc/managing-wallets.md and just use AI to translate it to Korean.

Hellow, Satoshi Nakamoto.

I am contacting you after a very long time.

I lost my wallet in 2009, so is there any way to recover or retrieve it?

I know the private key exactly.

9 years and you didn't reach out until now, are you coming from the dead?

Cruise aside, if you posted this in 2009 when Bitcoin was new and less valued, people might donate more than what you lost justing by how people were generous and giving away Bitcoin then. If my memory serve me right, in 2009 there are faucet you could have made that amount of Bitcoin but I'm not to dumb to believe your story after waiting all these years to write this unbelievable stories.

Anyways, Satoshi left the Bitcoin forum, the other one not this one in 2010 and since then, nobody knows his whereabout, nobody knows who is Satoshi and if he is real, a person or a group of people. If you don't have your wallet database, please let this go. The energy you are suing to open thread asking for way to retrieve Bitcoin lost years ago, if you have bought Bitcoin, you would be richer than anyone in this forum.

I was about to advise you, bro, that you should not listen to anyone claiming to be Satoshi. They will only try to steal your funds. The first thought that came to everyone's mind, especially scammers, was that this person is claiming to be one of the earlier Bitcoiners who owns bitcoins from 2009 and could have a lot of them. And bro, can you at least confirm where you bought Bitcoin in 2009? This can give everyone a little clue?

Also, bro, never share your private keys or the .dat files with anyone. You can lose your coins.

And can you tell us why you want to have a chat with Satoshi Nakamoto? He is not on this forum anymore, his account is no longer active, no one knows who he is, where he is, or whether he is alive or dead. You have to state your exact problem rather than finding Satoshi.
