Campaign has already started and it is now another time where they will come with their usual fake promises which any wise person shouldn't even be listening to again because of the lies that is in it. Some will even want to share rice and all things to buy our vote. We should have grown up from all this dumb tricks that this people are using on us

Guys should quit being tribalistic and go for what is actually right. But this people will not want to go for the right thing because tribalism has blinded some person that they have vowed never to vote for any person who ain't from the same ethnic group like them. At this stage that we have gotten to, is person even supposed to continue supporting someone that couldnt do a single thing even after giving the chance. Let other person be given a shot.

Some times I wonder if we as the citizens of Nigeria are ever tired of suffering in this country. Because this whole thing of receiving a bags of rice and other things from heartless politicians in exchange for their happiness for the next 4 years is becoming so common. Or is it that we aren't tired of all what we have been passing through in recent years? However, I can't deny the fact that these guys are so demonic but we are citizens aren't making things easier for ourselves either.

Guys should quit being tribalistic and go for what is actually right. But this people will not want to go for the right thing because tribalism has blinded some person that they have vowed never to vote for any person who ain't from the same ethnic group like them. At this stage that we have gotten to, is person even supposed to continue supporting someone that couldnt do a single thing even after giving the chance. Let other person be given a shot.

All I will say is that whosoever that is choosing his or her candidate based on tribe or religion regardless what is happening without proper checking if the person in question is qualified for that position. What the person didn't understand is that, he or she is not only causing more harm to himself alone but also to his children unborn and that is just the way it is. However, alot has gone wrong in Nigeria in the past years and I think the best time to rewrite those wrongs is by casting our vote rightly.

Am inspired to come up with this topic because of the situation of this country Nigeria. Every Nigerian are testimonies that Nigeria is a country that is well blessed with numerous natural resources including oil which is now Nigeria major source of income presently. Left with natural resources alone Nigerians are not suppose to suffer, but bad governance has kept Nigeria  where it is today.
What Nigeria need is good governance, and our numerous natural resources will be useful to us. There are some other countries that don't have as much natural resources as Nigeria do but they are fairing well, and doing better than Nigeria, reason being that they have better leaders. Their leaders are innovative, and have it in mind for the growth of their country, and citizens as well.
When the leadership of any country is good every thing goes smoothly, even when they don't have enough resources to survive from, the leaders will bring investors who find their country convenient to do their business, and economic growth will be esterblished.

Presently in Nigeria, there is high rate of insecurity, inflation, and economic hardship, and all is caused by bad rulership. No investor would like to esterblish where their is high level of insecurity even with our numerous natural resources.
We need leaders that will make Nigeria great, and bring it to a great country that Nigeria is suppose to be. A country can grow even without many natural resources, but when the leaders only care about what they will achieve, the economy is bound to crash.

What is your take on this?

Bad governance is one of the major problems that is killing the country. Our government or leaders focus solely on self interest living the biggest opportunities that will be favourable to both the government and its citizens or the country at large. Ignorance, greediness and selfishness doesn't give them the chance to focus on the preservation and utilisation of this great blessings that God has given us in form of natural resources. If there is equality, and accountability we will have less problems to deal with. Truth to be told, inflation and lack of unemployment are part of the major reasons why insecurity still persists in Nigeria. Because due to lack of unemployment there is increase in the rate of illegal activities such as stealing and other unlawful behaviours or activities.

Many fails to understand the important pf good governance but focus all attention to the important of mineral resources in the country, some of the world richest countries today lacks mineral resources but has good governance which is why most of there efforts do dome to reality.
In the world today,  Singapore appears among the richest nations in the world today but they lack mineral resources the same way nations like Nigeria has but don't know how to use them. The only advantage Singapore has is good governance and if this persists they may become better than most nations.

Truly we have some countries that don't have any mineral resources but have good working governance that the laws are working, good roads, jobs opportunities for her citizens, good healthcare, buying goods from other places and creating values with it, the government aren't interested in stealing and taking from the public.

Good governance help to make sure that the natural resources will generate money in different ways, helps in completing projects, makes sure that laws are being followed to the letter and it doesn't cut corners whether you're rich or poor, natural resources brings Money but a good governance sustains it and make sure there's development, growth and things are working well for people. A leader should be transparent and keeps record and not steal or been baised.

My take on this is that all of us should get our voter cards ready to vote for someone we truly believe has the interest of the people at hand. We can say all we can and hate the present government, but power is in our hands and how reluctant some of us are also contributes to how bad this country is becoming.

Natural Resources we have in abundance in this country, not just oil. Internally generated revenue is also not small. Bad governance is indeed what kept us in this country's position that we are now, but a good government with resources to work with might not actually be able to touch every aspect of the country's problem, we have the resources that will sustain the country what we need now is government that will help us adequately put it into good use.

It's no doubt that our country is really blessed with natural resources but what we need the most now is good government that will be able to effectively utilise this resources for the growth and development of the country.
 So how do we do it because it's not really having the voters card and voting for the right choice, the most problem is our votes to be counted. Many people really need a change for our country but the fact that our votes will be countered and elections rigged just keep discouraging some people to vote, you will hear people say is not as if their votes will be counted so why wasting of thier time and in some situations you still see some people vote and support this bad government probably because they are benefitting from the bad government or because of peanuts they have been given without even thinking of what happens when the peanuts they were given finishes.

Tribalism a disease in this country. Bunch of adult behaving like if they vote their tribal person, the suffering will be given to those not in their tribe. Forgetting that it will affect everybody. Na everybody go feel am.

And I want to correct that your statement of giving another person a chance. No no no. Presidential office no be were dem dey give perso chance. No be so. Yes good governance fuels more growth than mineral resources, in the sense that with good governance there will be accountability, transparency, and equality, because even the so called mineral resources, no matter how important it might look, if it falls into the wrong management, it will likely look like it's nothing special, for instance Nigeria my country, we actually got enough mineral resources that could make this country look more beautiful than most of the western nations, but base of the bad governance we are having, it now looks like a country without like, so definitely good governance fuels more growth in a nation.
