A casino should never be considered a place to store your money. And you should treat a casino as a platform that could freeze your account at any time for various reasons outlined in its terms of service. Only deposit money that you can afford to lose, and be prepared for the possibility of losing it, having your account blocked, or facing other issues. If the amount is small, it shouldn't affect your finances or your mood. If you're depositing large sums of money, you're already taking a risk.
Many players, of course, keep a small amount of funds in their gaming balancecunless, that is, they’ve lost almost everything, to the point where they can’t even place a minimum bet. It has long been clear to me that gaming platforms are not the place to store money. I only keep enough for a day, a week, or at most two weeks of play. Interestingly, many players leave a small balance behind when they decide to stop using a particular platform and become inactive. Over time, their accounts may be blocked—since no bets have been placed for a very long period and the remaining cents are simply seized by the platform. While these amounts are trivial for a casino even when aggregated across a thousand inactive accounts they still represent a gain for them.

Why on earth will you be keeping your money inside a casino wallet. Sure anything can happen for example your government might ban the casino from operating in your country, which means your funds won't be available to be accessed. Or something they could jusy stop operations without letting the their user know. This is what I do , since we are in the weekend and football games will played, I would first prepare my betslip in the betting platform. After that is when i would deposit the money i want to use for gambling. If i win my bets, i immediately withdraw everything to my bank account. Betting is risky, but leaving your money in their platform is a riskier thing to do.

Like we know, currently active casinos may become inactive (no longer operating) at some point. When that happens, there is a chance that funds in users' wallets will disappear, especially if the casino can't refund users. However, I'm sure reputable casinos will maintain their reputations, and they will be responsible by allowing users to withdraw funds within a reasonable timeframe.
So, I am curious: do you think it should be better to avoid using casinos as a place to store your money ? is it better to transfer it immediately after each session ? or, do you have any other reasons ?
What I am referring to here is small balances that can still be withdrawn. Whether it is from weekly, monthly, reload, and others.
This is crypto space for crying out loud, we all have this believe that non-custodial is the way out of people's losing control of their money, casinos accounts belongs to the casino, any amount of money you deposited on the platform is not in your control anymore. Isn't it stupid to leave money on such platform? You don't have to be told before knowing the right thing to do here, don't leave any amount of money on any online casino, it's no more in your control and the withdrawal will still be processed by the casino team, it's no more your money until you withdraw successfully and you receive the funds. If you want to leave behind any amount of money make sure that it's the type you can afford to lose.

Although if you play according to your status, whether you want to play less or more, it is for your enjoyment and fun, not for business. However, the amount of money in gambling is less, so if you have a small amount, you can try your luck with it. Although there are many people who invest a lot of money in a single bet and there are also many people who gamble with a very small amount. Although gambling has nothing to do with how much money you have, if you are lucky with gambling, it will lure you out of money and if your luck is good, you will withdraw money from it and earn profit. Sometimes even small bets lead to big profits and success, so try not to gamble with a large amount of money.

I never deposit my gambling money in casino sites. That is to say, when I win in gambling, I prefer to withdraw the money after each bet. It cannot be said that all casino sites will last long. Any casino site can close at any moment. There are some casino sites that can disappear from the casino industry without any prior announcement. So I think if the amount of money deposited by gamblers on the casino platform becomes large, it would be better to move it to a safe place than to leave it on the casino site. By doing this, you will benefit from two things - the first is that the money will be safe. And the second is that if there is a large amount of money in the casino sites, the desire to gamble more is created, but if the money is withdrawn, the desire to gamble will be somewhat less.

It is not because the users voluntarily keep those pennies or dollars in their accounts. Rather the issue lies in the withdrawal limit and crypto fees. You may have 2 or 3 dollars left in your account but it is possible that the minimum withdrawal limit set by the platform can be 10 dollars or that the crypto network fees will cost you a couple of dollars. As a result the users are bound to keep that money in their accounts and make them useless. Similar to how water turns into a drop of water, these balances become a great source of income for the casino industry.

Transfer money to your own cold storage or soft storage as much as possible. Just deposit money that you are about to gamble. It's not just about keeping your money safe. It's also about avoiding the encouragement to keep on gambling. That way, you won't fall into gambling addiction.
There are gambling sites that would suddenly shut down, but there are those who like keeping their reputation clean, so they will let gamblers withdraw their funds within a certain timeframe. Yolodice was one of the good examples of that before Ethan closed his shop.

Yes, I completely agree with you. Especially if there is money in the casino account, the possibility of addiction is much higher. Because the person who has money in his casino account will definitely want to play again and again and because of playing again and again, he may become addicted and he may face losses. I think it is very good to consider all these aspects. Because I saw a friend of mine, as long as there is money in his account, he will keep playing and when he wins, he will send the winning money to someone else so that he cannot play again

If you want to leave money in a online casino account you must make sure that the amount is very small, atleast the amount that you can afford to lose if anything does happened.
I don't like the idea to be honest because it's no longer in your control to take your money out whenever you are ready, you still have to click on withdrawal and hope that the casino process the withdrawal.
This puts anyone in a disadvantage corner, but I guess many people won't reason it the way I did, and I don't mind because I have always risk small amount of money.

A little money is not a big problem and gamblers who have been gambling on a platform for a long time and have got positive results, it is relatively safe to keep money on a gambling platform, but gamblers must accept that that gambling platform can also be at risk of hacking. Even if the casino authority is good, if those platforms are hacked, they may not return the money later or may lose their ability. Therefore, it is wise to avoid taking risks with your own assets. Since it is not very difficult to deposit money on online platforms. Since there is the facility of depositing and withdrawing in a short time, it is safe to keep as much money in your wallet as possible without taking risks.

It is wrong to be storing withdrawable money in your gambling account because it is not 100% safe, because if hackers gain access to your account, they can steal your money that is there, so it's because of that I feels like it's too dangerous to keep money there. I personally don't keep money in my betting account no matter how trustworthy that casino is because it doesn't seems right in my own perspective, so what I always do is to make a deposit anytime I want to gamble, and if I won, I would withdraw everything out, if am not making any bet instantly. That way I am safe from what the op is talking about.

But be sure that any active popular casino platform will definitely provide instructions to customers before it closes and they will give customers enough time and they will not suddenly become inactive. However, it is always better to use a small amount of money on the gambling platform and keep a small amount of money on the gambling platform, there is no risk in this. I always use a very small amount of money on the gambling platform and keep a small amount of money because when I have a little more money on my gambling platform, I withdraw it from there. I never deposit money at the casino platform.

That way I am safe from what the op is talking about. Withdrawing unused funds, I think this is a good practice, particularly when there are balances to withdraw already. Any casino can be compromised or have access problems. But I wouldn't say it's always necessary to withdraw from every small balance as network charges may be more than what you're going to transfer. As an individual, I think that the withdrawal fee and risk of the platform are among the factors to consider. While a casino wallet is intended for playing and not long term storage, it does appear to be logical to store only what you are going to use.

I am categorically opposed to storing crypto assets and fiat assets on any centralized platforms! They are heavily dependent on legislation and individual entities, and essentially bear responsibility for the safety of funds without guaranteeing any compensation mechanisms. Here’s a simple example: if legislation changes tomorrow, or the list of restricted countries is updated, you’ll never see your money again. ...

I totally agree with you, casino isn’t bank and it doesn’t make sense to put big amount of money in long term. Even if it’s crypto you deposit in, you don’t have full control of your private keys. It’s the casino that still control your funds, so if anything happens to the platform you can lose your money. Little amount that you can afford to lose isn’t too bad, but it’s good for us not to use casino as a savings account.

Leaving funds on the casino balance is not the problem; the problem comes when gamblers start to use the casino as a place to hold their assets, thinking of and dealing with casino wallets as custodial wallets.
You're right about that, it's actually quite reasonable because many players do that. I remember FreeBitcoin had that option and it gave them an annual return; I don't remember exactly how much, but they offered that service. But if casinos are making that kind of offer, it's very difficult for me to trust them with my funds, because it's very easy for them to launch an attack and compromise those funds. It's much better to have our own wallet and manage our own private keys.

Yeah, a casino isn't a bank or a crypto wallet, it's a gambling service. And even if it's been operating for years without any problems, nobody can guarantee that it won't run into financial or technical difficulties tomorrow. There's also the psychological side of it. But if you withdraw your winnings to your own wallet, it's much easier to stop and avoid gambling that money away again. There might be fees, minimum withdrawal amounts, or additional checks. So I'd base my decision on the size of my balance and how often I play.

Actually, there’s no problem with keeping money at an online casino, provided that you continue playing there and the money you leave behind is just leftover funds that you use during your next gambling session. As for the amount, that’s up to each individual gambler, although many recommend not keeping too much money in an online casino, including myself, given all the risks involved. But when it comes to storing assets in an online casino, there’s no question about it, it would be a fatal mistake to do so.

For real? You mean there are people that use casino for keeping money? For what? I see gamblers that show screenshot of their wins and their balance and immediately they are done showing off, they don't wait before they withdraw everything to their wallets. It's because 1, fear of unexpected accusations of previous won bets by casino, they do it and it can happen to you. 2. The fear of using all your balance to gamble when you're out of your emotions. If you don't have anything doing with your funds, if not for anything withdraw all to your wallets for security purpose than let it sleep on the platform. I have seen 3 casino hack within last month and these month and the news were devastating. Most of them froze withdrawals and enable it after investigation. I'm sure that people caught in between with balance on the casinos wouldn't have peace of mind.

There is no point in keeping your money in a casino after you are no longer gambling anymore, once your gambling activities are over withdraw your money back into your bank account.
You can leave small amount of money if you are certain that you are coming back the next day, strictly for those gamblers that are too exposed to gambling.
I don't gamble everyday, I prefer two days in a week, there is no reason to leave a lot of money on a casino once I am done gambling, it can take me three days before coming back and it's possible that many things would have happened by the time.
