When you are going to sign up for a new casino, do you think about your signup and how it is processed (a referral or not)? Do you think about it as supporting fellow members or is it something that never crosses your mind? I used to be somebody who doesn’t care when signing up for these sorts of services, but now I usually try to take advantage of signing up for something and use it as an opportunity to help someone I know with a referral. How about you?

I am the type who bounce from one online casino to another simply because they have alot of offers and bonuses to offer, most times I am satisfied with a single or two online casinos with good reputation.

Somewhere I can deposit money and not worried that one day when I come back the website will stop working, somewhere I can see so many other gamblers talking about or promoting.

This is why I am always in debt to this forum for leading me right to the appropriate online casinos, I would be struggling still if I don't come on this forum for many reasons like gambling, investment and crypto advices.

When it comes to which method of how I usually register on crypto casinos, to be honestly speaking, I will say that I don't have a particular method of how I have registered on these crypto casinos, because depending on the mood and what platform i am at the moment, i could decide to use the casino's url if im very familiar with it. Whereas if the casino happens to have an active presence on this forum, and i intend to register account on it, I might use the the link on the casinos official ANN thread on this forum, or also just click on the signature campaign of whoever i happen to come acros wearing the casino's signature.

If I'm signing up for a new casino, if someone who has already signed up in the same casino ask me to use his or her referral link to sign up I will gladly honor the request by signing up with the person referral link . I'm a person who will help a brother achieve his goal in whatever thing he's doing provided the thing is legit and I won't be wanted by the government after rendering a help to a brother.

I don't see using someone referral in signing up for a casino as helping a friend or even supporting forum members. There are alot of casinos who are coming up here and they all have different features and games depending on what they offers. I Casino may appear appealing to someone else but may not be appealling to me.Any casino that, I want to sign up on, I don't need to wait for the referral link of others I go and do the finding myself and if the said Casino is worth it I sign-up by myself.

I have the same attitude towards this matter. I don’t think there’s even much people who are still into this referral code stuffs. The only time I know forum members actually use the referral codes of others is probably when a campaign manager launches the casino’s campaign and maybe puts their own referral link on the signature campaign thread, so that way you’re automatically using the referral code when signing up for that casino (for those who requires you to sign up on the casino. Asides this, I’m not sure there are many people who actually pays attention to this.

Yes I would have to agree that if they have a good reputation on this forum I am more inclined to sign up and give them a go but if they dont in am more apprehensive with signing up because reputation is a big deal

We never lose anything by using a ref code, and sometimes the casino will gives us a bonus for being invited. I don't understand people that remove the referral for no reason

Referral is just like an icing on the cake, so it is not the real thing. Although I look at three things which are how close is the person to me, how persistent is the person that I should remember to use it and what is the percentage of the referral that the owner of the referral link will get. So if the percentage is small, I may not bother but if it is high then I will know that the benefit will be high for the person. For example, if referral bonus percentage is around 1-5%, then I may overlook it but if it climbs to around 20% +, I will use the link. But not using the link is to encourage the person to win and not to only rely on what bonuses to get from referral link.

On one crypto exchange, I've made more from referrals than from trading - and I'm not even an active referrer.
A friend and I arranged a cashback deal: I used his referral link, and he gave me back 50% of the bonus he got from my referral.
The problem with referral links is that you often get fake information from all kinds of “reviewers.” They don't care who uses their link, they don't play themselves, and they just take a cut of your gambling.

I really don't pay that kind of attention whenever I try to sign up through one of the gambling-related links found in the signature spaces of our users here.
^{- It's worth mentioning that I tend to stick to one or two casinos at most, while only signing up for testing purposes on others, so regardless of those links containing a referral ID, I don't think it's going to make that much of a difference to a fellow member.}

That is how strong communities are formed.  Imagine the difference in funds this community would receive if nobody used referrals for signups vs if everyone used referrals for signups.  Little things like that can make a big difference at scale.  This is just one reason why it is important to try and maintain a positive atmosphere in the community.  If people all work together it can benefit everyone in ways they don't even realize.  I think the gambling community here at bitcointalk is pretty strong and supportive.  That's why it has done so well.

Honestly I don’t really think about it, not like I have any problem with signing up with someone else’s referral code/link, I would if it’s just right in front of me, but going to look for someone’s referral before I sign in, simply because I wanna support them, that I haven’t done and that I’m not sure either if I’ll do because I honestly see it as a waste of my time.

I don’t think anyone will also want to go through that trouble just because they want someone to benefit from their signup. The only scenario in which it’s possible to search for someone to click on their ref link to use is if I’m unsure of the right URL to the casino, but I know someone who is a partner or should have the link. Only then can I search for them.
