Government has recognized Bitcoin but they have not recognize it as a legal tender in their country, must government will never recognize it as a legal tender and if this those not happen how have they recognized it, must government only see bitcoin as an investment not as money and that is why they will not recognize it as a legal tender.
In the other way, because of the way bitcoin is structured I can say or I can agree with you based on your thread title that Bitcoin is like democracy.
Do you think government must officially recognize Bitcoin as a legal tender before you know they're already backing it as one?
Does Bitcoin need such declaration when governments are already recognizing it as an investment asset, regulate exchanges and still allow people to decide whether they want to use it?
Making Bitcoin a legal tender will be a different level of recognition but it shouldn't be the condition for it to have value or financial usefulness.
Bitcoin in the first place wasn't even designed to operate with government's backing or approval so the fact that they're no longer making it illegal for citizens to use Bitcoin is enough.
