If there is anything cheap in this world, it is human labor. Human labor is so inexpensive that no AI can truly replace it. While many highly advanced AI models have emerged, if you compare the cost of using AI to perform the tasks of a human worker in a specific role, you will find that the "token costs" (operational costs) are so high that hiring a human is actually much cheaper.
While this might have significant implications in the distant future, I do not believe it will have any major impact on the next generation. Furthermore, if this were to become a serious issue, I expect the government to take appropriate measures; otherwise, if everyone were to become jobless, people would face starvation and that would inevitably lead to a different kind of uprising.
Yes, human labor is cheap in many places, but you cannot compare solely absolute figures here. There is also the aspect of speed: AI often completes certain tasks significantly faster. However, where it differs is in its lack of any concept of subordination, which is critically important for the vast majority of jobs. That is precisely why it cannot fully replace humans. It remains an instrument, not an employee.

Anyone gets happy at what they do at all? At some point, do you actually think you are working for yourself or someone else is getting more benefits from your efforts? Doesn't matter low or high income earners here. In fact, in every earnings, there are heavy workers earning less and less workers earning more.
Signature campaign earners spend time here posting to feed a casino company that prints money in equity. It's the same thing.

If they do not take the extra pay, other people will take it and still they may later lose job to AI which is still the same thing without receiving any pay for the work they do not do and that is done by another people Yes talk about trying to keep your morals and job for the future and your colleagues takes it leaving you with nothing now and also nothing in the future. But who protects this low income workers, it should be the government, Ai is going to be felt most by these guys who are being paid to teach Ai to take their Jobs, no wonder it's not even getting much consideration by those in power. A desperate and single worker cn never summon the courage to negotiate with a company that can easily just hire someone else in another poverty dominated country tomorrow. One thing the government can do it to set some rules by mandating them to tell workers what their data is for. But the politicians don't really give a f*ck about AI replacing poor workers because it won't affect their own loved ones.

Talk about helping to end your own Job, the reality is that these mostly uneducated workers are about to lose possibly the only job they can offer for pay just because of extra money. I think these workers should be adequately informed about what they are doing, preferably in the language the understand best, about what the whole process is all about and the effect it will have on them.
My idealism said technological progress should enhance human well being, rather than merely benefiting corporations at the expense of workers' futures, but from the video, OP presented, AI is making human labor increasingly less necessary. Some people think very simple, immediate daily needs are more important than the risk of losing one's job in the future and we cannot argue with or blame workers who need money to survive. I think we need government intervention on these matter especially on worker protection, any companies that benefiting from automation should share their profit by responsibility of assisting workers through this transition and providing the safety net. Another help and compensation for worker are government provide relevant, affordable skill training and training that is needed and can be absorbed by the labor market which the purpose are adaptation to technological changes, rather than waiting until they have already lost their jobs.

All they have to do is get a decent pay, save up, and transition into another job that AI hasn't taken over. There are many other businesses and services these people can render if they decide to stop today. AI is yet to conquer all industries. Transitions exist. None of them were told not to stop if they want. But since they are ready to train the AI for a high amount, there is no worry about it. What they should be worried about is how much they have saved to quit this type of job.

You know there is nothing money can not be able to do. I know that there are some things that money can not be able to do and there are some problems that money can not solve, but you know the reason people are saying there is nothing money can not do.
If they do not take the extra pay, other people will take it and still they may later lose job to AI which is still the same thing without receiving any pay for the work they do not do and that is done by another people.
The goal here is to work smart and not work harder, because at the end of the day, it all pays off. Something about our current world is changing and we're in an era where Ai will grab the jobs of most working citizens. Ai is improving everyday and enchancing more roles in working space. Ai can be regulated and operated with individuals who know exactly how to operate the machine, it doesn't come with any challenges, one just need to be intellectual and know exactly what he or she is doing.

That’s the world we live in. The rich will always find ways to exploit the poor, the story reminds me of those kids in poor countries working in sweatshops for famous fashion brands. It is modern slavery imo, I doubt the workers are getting paid well enough for the kind of work they are doing for these AI companies. Aren’t there laws or agencies protecting the interests of workers in India?

Let's be honest, we all know that even if such things aren't done by people to help companies train their AI robots or models, they will still manage to do it somehow, because there isn't a lack of any activity or video that these companies can't get to train their AIs and make them ready to do those work in the future. With social media and content creation these days, almost every other person is posting what they do on a daily basis only to make money from it, don't you think such companies can also use those content to train their robots just like how publicly available data is currently used to train AI models without consent?
In my opinion, AI development cannot be stopped, no matter what we do, it is the future and we have to face it, and such things won't really do much damage because any damage that can be done it will be done anyhow. So if some people are able to actually make some money by recording what they do, I don't think there is anything wrong with that, considering the fact that AI robots and models and their underlying companies will still find a way to get things done.

This is the same attitude people who sell their vote have. They just care about the present without thinking about the future effects of what they are doing. When people are poor, they care more about what they will eat at the moment than the effect of their actions 5 years later. Poor people are very easy to manipulate. That is why politicians have a field day manipulating their voters, especially in developing countries. This is also a reason why politicians will prefer to keep the people uneducated and poor so they can easily manipulate them with peanuts.

Well this isn't only about lack of knowledge, because if you look closely the country is probably India. And yeah it's easy to say, there are still a lot of rural areas in India where families are suffering, so when given such opportunities with that kind of pay they probably don't care as long as they get paid. And besides we can't really predict when those skills they are taking from those folks would even be implemented into the AI. Yes for sure what they are doing would easily lead to them ending up unemployed or finding another job .but whether they do it or not the world is evolving quicker than we expect, so this really isn't a shocking thing. Regardless of the consequences, humanity will still keep pushing to make technology because they believe it makes life easier that's all....

Having a camera really sounds extreme for some people for sure, but I guess if it was something of a standard on a country there were no choice but to do it I mean the important thing is you are going to get your salary in the end of the day, I don't really see the whole point of doing this but if they are doing it for standard puposes or surveillance, then it might be exessive but there were no choice about it these people are poor and they needed a job.
I guess the AI thing was just inevitable in the future, for sure there will be a lot of jobs that is going to be replaced by AI. Even today there are a lot of affected people starting to happened, but still not totally since if you are going to ask me about it, people are still going to be better than any AI because we are just unique.

Everyone seems to have such a low opinion of the humans in each of these AI or robot vs human cases. The human is always superior and even greater the human can learn a whole variety of tasks across a vast spectrum of subjects.
What we dont do as well is work 24 hours a day non stop, you do generally want to treat a human far better where as the automated task machine needs no such considerations. Yet the most often conclusion is the robot is now more highly prized but its the human who will go onto do greater tasks that the AI and robot cannot achieve, I think it will elevate society overall.
I get the fear, 'they are stealing our jobs' but work just for the sake of work is not the real purpose for humanity. We can go back to pick corn and cotton in the fields if we really desired endless work for everyone. Some countries I think they do this, the people are very lowly valued and suffer poverty from what I've read; its not productive or efficient. I dont fear improvement really, theres no need.

Unfortunately, even without that, AI intelligence continues to evolve. Whether we like it or not, humans are compelled to prepare for this reality. AI is already capable of doing many things today, and it is quite possible that in the future, it will be able to do even more. Naturally, this will narrow the opportunities for humans to secure employment.
Yet, regrettably, many people still refuse to acknowledge this.
I have had many conversations with people in the village, but they just laugh. Many of them ask: "Can they really till the soil like we do?" "Can they wash dishes like we do?" "Can they... [do other tasks]... just like us?"
It is difficult to help them understand that, elsewhere, some of these jobs have already been taken over by robots. Furthermore, AI’s capabilities go far beyond that. Today, we can even listen to beautiful music and songs or watch compelling dramas, all created by AI. We must confront both the pros and cons of AI, and we need to be prepared for whatever may come. Even regarding this very forum. Who knows how much longer activities like "signature campaigns" in this forum can continue to be done by humans? We don't know how much longer the developers will run such campaigns.

When we have focus on what we want to achieve in life, then we will not be so much concerned about the background that serve as the souls to how we are being brought up, instead we are going to be more aligned with the possibilities to what we stand to achieve regardless of the conditions arising, this is not about a low income inner alone but anyone that can maximize any opportunity with him to be able to have financial freedom in the economy, making us more less defendant of anyone regardless of the situation than me transpired along the line.
No matter the situations some people find themselves in life they don’t care because they’ve already make up their mind to focus by chasing the goal in order for them to achieve it. Anyone who is ready to make his future career better they will not be concerned about the outcome, or looking up-to others people background i think is even wast of time when your supposed to be more focused on yourself to make the plans to meet your dreams in the future.

I don't think AI will ever fully replace a job, but someone would definitely oversee it and make sure it's working as intended. There's so much that could really happen, knowing that AI is getting better and better, so i think it's best to adapt instead of rejecting it.
Having those jobs that can be automated would be more efficient, in my opinion, but we will see in the future how it will happen

Sad but that is the reality, eventually some jobs that involve repetitive tasks will be replaced by robots, at least some of them.
They can say no but they don't really have much choice because they are minimum wage earners who work just to survive, but I think this is not permanent, it's just an experiment until they gather enough data, but that's the risk to their jobs since they could eventually be replaced by robots.
Investors would choose robots if they could as robots don't need rest, don't demand salaries, so companies could save money. Also in terms of production robots can be more accurate and efficient.
What do we expect, AI is part of technology and any company would be needing to adapt technology so they can continuously thrive and progress in the years to come. Otherwise, the company who fails to embrace AI will definitely be left out in the long run. On part of the workers, I think they have no other choice but to do their jobs just like what the owner implies them to do. I guess they already know what AI is, and that it could possibly replacing their jobs soon, but they're left with no choice but to help AI, otherwise they will lost their small source of income at the present.

I don't think they really have no idea on what they're doing about. AI is all over the internet, so most possibly they already have the clue to where they are heading to. But refusing not to accept the job is another story. Even if they have idea what they are doing, but still they will do their job because their daily income lies on it. Instead, they should maximize their job to what they can offer. That's the only thing they can do for now. And when the company no longer hire them because robots have taken their spot, then they can't do nothing but to accept the reality. And find another job that still requires their skills. Not all jobs can be done by AI, but these people have to also learn how to incorporate AI into their skills, as this thing with AI is inevitable.

First of all, AI will never be so perfect that all kinds of work can be done by AI. Usually, the way we think is that AI will make us lose our jobs, many unemployed people will increase in the world, people's sources of income will be closed. If that is really the case, then if a large population loses their jobs due to AI and AI increases production by doing those jobs, then who will buy those products? Who will use those products, if they have no source of income?
If a large population loses their jobs due to AI, then it is bad for the economy. There will be a big change in the economic ecosystem, which will affect all kinds of people. People who are trying to upgrade AI in the world should make it possible to increase human employment through AI.

There are some people who do not think about the future effects of what they doing, in fact as much as they are being paid well they don't care if the job terminates or not that fact that they are getting paid a good sum of money they are already comfortable with it. They need to reason is that, if they teach the AI the task and it got used to the Job and probably becomes more faster them in terms of Job precision and Accuracy they could be dumped because, AI will do the task faster and more perfectly than human. Whereas, human takes more longer time to finish up the task because they are working on company policies which also applies safety of life and properties so that wouldn't be any hazard.

I've been getting job mails and many of them are AI training outsourcing job for professional posing as a genuine job offer lately, those companies are really hungry for data and they're willing to spend millions just to gather the datasets from people like me and you. Worst thing about the reel above is, they probably don't even know what they're doing is not documenting their work for documentation purpose but for AI training that will eventually replace their job. These companies whose sole purpose is gathering dataset for AI to train on are never honest hence why I don't really blame them. When something like this happen, only government can intervene to give workers safety umbrella through regulations.
