Personally, I use the  4h timeframe. My approach is pretty slow-paced, with around 2–4 trades per month.

I'm interested in hearing about your experience:

- Do you trade only BTC, or do you trade altcoins too?
- Which timeframe do you use?
- How many trades do you usually make per month?
- What do you like or dislike about focusing on Bitcoin instead of trading multiple coins?
2-4 trades per month? I wonder what's your risk-to-reward ratio with that one.

With this number of trades, I just assume that you have a lot of capital, but a low monthly reward. Kind of around 5% per month which TBH is perfectly fine ONLY if you have 6-digit capital on your trading account. Wink For somebody who has maybe around $100 worth of capital, earning $5 per month isn't worth it. Cheesy

Anyway to answer your questions:
- Nope I don't trade only Bitcoin. I also trade altcoins as well, and I'm more often trade altcoins than Bitcoin. As long as I see a setup, I enter.
- 3-4 timeframes. I usually use the 15M, 5M and 1M. 15M for the Bias and usually 5M for the entry. I also use the 1M as well if I see an entry. There are also times where I'm using the 1H time frame as well to see the overall bias of the market for the day/week.
- Number of trades per month? I will just say that I usually make around 1-3 trades per day. Cheesy
- As somebody who's more of a scalper, you will not see setups that often if you will only focus on one coin. If you're more of a position trader, you will see setups because you're willing to wait for a long amount of time for that to happen. If you're a scalper, your not, and because of that you will go look for altcoins that have a setup based on your rules.

The lesser you trade pairs. The better since you get more time to learn how to trade and understand the nature of Bitcoin rather than looking for the next opportunity. But remember. Risk isn't just determined by how few trades you make, position size. Leverage and proper stop-loss discipline are just as important. Even with a 4H setup. It's possible to lose money when the market turns against you. I feel like it's better to miss a trade than to trade when it's not obvious.

Hey everyone!

I'm curious - how many of you trade BTCUSDT exclusively, without touching altcoins? Or am I a dinosaur in the crypto market? 😄

Personally, I use the  4h timeframe. My approach is pretty slow-paced, with around 2–4 trades per month.

I'm interested in hearing about your experience:

- Do you trade only BTC, or do you trade altcoins too?
- Which timeframe do you use?

- What do you like or dislike about focusing on Bitcoin instead of trading multiple coins?

Share your experience. I'd love to see how other traders approach the market!

You going 2 to 4 trades per month means you are using the weekly candle or the 2 weeks candle, they are most accurate than those chasing daily candles, I like this, the best trade of my life happened on the. 2 weeks candle.

This was when Bitcoin turned around at 58k, my trading tool gave the signal and it was accurate, did some long and oh boy I made very good amount of profit.

I like trading Bitcoin more, altcoins ? I only bought on spot  and take profit after, I made some profits in Arweave and FET, it was a killing that I spotted the bottom at the time.

Sometimes I trade altcoins besides Bitcoin. I don't have specific timeframe because I will check the timeframe and determine when I can trade.

I don't trade too many per month because that depending on the market fluctuation. If the moves good, maybe I can trade more than before. But there is sometime I don't trade because I can't get some signs to the market.

So not be a problem if you just trade Bitcoin only. That will reducing your confuses analyzing the market.
