The trajectory of Bitcoin today is still an advantage to US despite the facts that they are the highest holder of Bitcoin, basically now now Bitcoin except those that don't want still exchange using dollar, US is already Putting some strategic measure to ensure they have some of the Treasury in Bitcoin I can recall that some Trump desire to make some workers pension reserve in Bitcoin , not just that the seizure of some Bitcoin using the sign executive order is for reserve purpose and increase the holding of US against all odds, I will said if they are pro- Bitcoin is just to put fear on people to get means of getting more because they want to be among the highest holder, Bitcoin is never a threat to US dollar as they benefits from the Bitcoin transaction.

This is a question that comes up all of the time, implicitly or explicitly, in a lot of discussions: does the existence of Bitcoin help or hurt the USA? Is a good thing or a bad thing for the country?

Some seem to think that Bitcoin is very bad for the USA--so bad that the USA would do everything in its power to stop Bitcoin (but somehow hasn't succeeded... ¯\(ツ)/¯).

Still others think Bitcoin will massively change the USA for the better.

For me the answer to this question is that it doesn't really help or hurt the USA in any significant way.
Just like a gun which in itself does not kill people, but the people who use it, the same is for bitcoin. Bitcoin will either help or hurt the USA depending on usage. If there are more people who use Bitcoin for investments it will help improve the hope they have for the future, they be encouraged to never get involved with any criminal activity and even become better citizens so that they can enjoy the benefits of their investments later on. While there are those that will use bitcoin for the wrong purposes to hurt other people in the USA and generally paint a bad picture for it. So, like I said, bitcoin will help or hurt the USA depending on how it is used, and the people who use it. If there are more people who are using it for good and helping themselves, then it is helping the United States but rather if there are more people using it for bad purposes then it is hurting the country.

Yes, I completely agree with you. Every thing has its good and bad sides. The side that people use more will spread its influence among everyone. Bitcoin can be used in both good and bad ways, so if everyone uses it in a good way, it will definitely be good and if they use it in a bad way, it will definitely be bad. I never think that Bitcoin will ever be harmful for the United States. Because all the power is in the hands of the United States, they can do whatever they want and can make the Bitcoin market go up and down. Many big companies that are in the United States have bought a lot of Bitcoin and if Mr. Trump says even one word against Bitcoin, then the Bitcoin market can have a big impact. So I don't think that Bitcoin will be much harmed in the United States. They will take action before any major harm occurs.

This line of reasoning is akin to asking whether the existence of a hammer could be harmful to a carpenter. What kind of harm might it cause in the hands of a deranged housewife intent on striking her husband? Smiley

Bitcoin is a financial instrument that, if used correctly, will prove beneficial. However, there is no guarantee that it couldn't also cause harm (in the wrong hands).

Some seem to think that Bitcoin is very bad for the USA--so bad that the USA would do everything in its power to stop Bitcoin (but somehow hasn't succeeded... ¯\(ツ)/¯).
The legislative acts concerning cryptocurrencies in this country don’t really look like attempts to destroy this asset class. Smiley After all, the goal seems to be to regulate the sector, rather than to ban or eliminate it entirely.

Still others think Bitcoin will massively change the USA for the better.
Are BTC-idealists?

For me the answer to this question is that it doesn't really help or hurt the USA in any significant way. Bitcoin may be an interesting technology/financial product, but there are thousands of those in our country, and no single one of them is going to make a huge difference in the long run. Today Bitcoin is one of many crypto products, which turn is one of many thousands (millions?) of investment products. Every product has some impact, and you can make a "connections" case for all kinds of things (viz. some shared library that is present on almost all of the world's devices), but compared to high-level technology initiatives like The Internet or (coming soon) AI, the direct impact is not in that league. Even compared to a smaller realm like "social media", Bitcoin's impact on society and the US as a whole is still pretty small.
I agree, as the influence of bitcoin on the public consciousness is greatly overestimated (especially in the context of its use by criminals).

The answer to this question seems to be an important part of many people's thinking about Bitcoin. They start with the assumption that Bitcoin is bad for the USA, and then make a bunch of additional logical leaps like so:
Instead of focusing on "themselves" (what direct benefit bitcoin might offer them personally), many people spend their time speculating about the harm bitcoin could cause the country as a whole. Smiley

3. Since "the USA" operates as a single consciousness, every person in the USA, or at least every employee of the US government, will work toward the goal of eradicating Bitcoin (but they haven't succeeded since Bitcoin is more powerful than every world government  Smiley).
I might almost believe that, if it didn’t seem so amusing. Smiley Do you really imagine that all government employees are mentally linked to a single, centralized "government" mind that dictates how they should act? Smiley

Every citizen (including every government official) pursues their own interests; if it’s profitable, they will readily invest in bitcoin, regardless of any attempts by the government to stamp out that asset.

But others make a case that Bitcoin will radically improve the USA for the better, and make the country more successful and prosperous in huge and significant ways.
It seemed to me that bitcoin wasn't needed for this, since this country already has the best and most incomparable president - one capable of making the US great again. Wink

Anyhow, would love to hear people's thoughts on this...
I think that’s definitely not my headache. Smiley Why should I care about a country I don’t live in? Wink

This question doesn't have a direct answer, neither yes or no...To me Bitcoin have a significant advantage to the USA base, and also a deep risk to them, And it's applicable to other countries, so what you should do, is to evaluate the advantages of bitcoin and disadvantages of bitcoin in the usa...I assuming I'm in good health condition, I would have make out time and write it in a tabular form....

Bitcoin doesn't have negative effects to a country, but effects comes due to how we use Bitcoin and how we trade our bitcoin...when someone invest wrongly using Bitcoin, it doesn’t mean that bitcoin are bad...

But I don't know why you only concentrate on USA for your reference about bitcoin, bitcoin is meant to be visible and use across other countries, but your analysis only depends on one country...

Looking at the landscape of Bitcoin growth in the U.S things have become quite complex, they've been busy grappling with the direction of digital asset regulation. While countries that explicitly challenge the dominance of the United States are taking steps more quickly, Russia to reduce dependence on the Dollar by passing Federal law no. 282-FZ, so my view is that now it's who among the big countries is better prepared to build financial infrastructure for generations to come.
