Seeing the title of your topic made me want to repeat this sentence, "Don't put all your eggs in one basket."
Here, I will also say that Bitcoin is the most secure blockchain and, at the same time, the most promising coin in the crypto space but that does not mean that we have invested our entire savings in Bitcoin and collected it in a cold wallet, because I can only mention the incidents that happened in 2026 like coldcard incident, legder tempering incident etc.
So in this case too we need to bring diversification in our investments, like we should invest some fund in Bitcoin and some in gold or business or any physical asset and at the same time keep some money in bank through fiat currency and hold stablecoins in crypto also. And of course, it is important to hold all of them in different wallets rather than in the same wallet. This means that we should spread our assets as much as possible and keep them within our own management capabilities.
Yes, everything is getting hacked. Where hardware wallets were considered the strongest and safest wallets, they are also hacked. We already have an idea about centralized platforms that they are risky. Recently, the world's most powerful exchange platform Binance was hacked. If you make any physical investments, they can be stolen, documents can be forged. So nothing in the world is 100% safe. So all savings should never be kept in just one asset. If it is ever lost in any way, then you will have to go completely bankrupt. So you should divide your total assets into at least 5 parts and try to keep them safe in separate investments and separate ways, then you can stay safe. Otherwise, you will always be at risk.

Gaining financial stability goes beyond just having a single stream of income. It is understandable that if you are a beginner, there may not be enough resources or finance to diversify in your business, but it is adviseable that as your business grows you should diversify, and possibly increase your source of income.
Not everyone can have multiple streams of income.
In fact, for some persons, having multiple streams of income can be the undoing of a business person especially when it is done without any strategy or real intent.
The main thing is that do not follow the bandwagon. As a business person know when to stay in your lane and when to diversify. It is about timing and not trend.

Diversification doesn't mean making blind Investments, the problem a lot of people have is that they make different investments without making good research, this would not grant you financial freedom. As a new investor or beginner you need to start with a single investment then as time goes on you grow gradually from there, you get to learn a lot about other things you can put your money into before making any move.

You cannot just jump straight into creating multiple investments without developing In a particular area or having a particular core strength you can always be relevant in.
Knowledge is power as it is often expressed, lack of knowledge may bring about losses in respect to diversification of investment. For instance, most bitcoiners diversify their investments to shitcoins, though it may seem ridiculous but that is what most bitcoiners do and before doing that your knowledge shouldn’t stop at “shitcoins are not best held for the long term” rather you should acquire deep knowledge of the pros and cons of shitcoins before diversifying. In my own opinion,I would rather diversify my portfolio in physical assets than shitcoins because I don’t just find them worth participating or diversifying. So I just cited an example with shitcoins which is within the crypto market and my opinion is to always carryout further research and don’t stop only with the superficial knowledge.

These are some of the reasons why I think a single business or investment may not grant someone financial freedom.

Your inputs are welcomed.
A single business cannot give you financial freedom, this is wrong. In this case, I could not agree with you. But, there, financial freedom is comparatively less, if there are multiple sources of income or if there are alternative businesses, financial freedom increases comparatively. Look at the businesses like medicine business, grocery store business, restaurant etc., these are not seasonal businesses, rather these businesses continue to operate stably throughout the year. Many people make their living based on one business, if they have more money, they open multiple branches of that business.

But I think we should invest in different assets or create multiple business entities. When we have multiple investments or multiple business entities or multiple sources of income, our financial freedom increases comparatively and financial risk decreases. This does not mean that you cannot achieve financial freedom without alternative investments or alternative sources of income. What percentage of people in the world are there who have investments in alternative assets or alternative sources of income? Maybe very few...
I agree with you but we should not also forget that  not all diversification  can lead to financial freedom. It could be as a result of investing in the wrong assets or having a wimpy diversified assets.  On the wrong assets part a person might pick 4 assets he or she wants to invest in. Out of those 4 assets 1 or 2  or even 3 might not be a good assets. So, having a diversified portfolio does not automatically mean you are making good investment decisions. Then for the wimpy part, an  investor might have their money scattered their money in my asset that the returns are are not much, because they spread their investment too thin.  You could get huge profit from one good assets like bitcoin only if the money you invested  is not small. Instead of someone diversifying all at once, they should first focus on building one asset properly before going into another good one.
