It seems that you're talking about virtual sports? In such games it is too easy to fix matches. I see it in the list but don't bet on it. If you bet on actual league games, even in lower leagues, it is much harder to get a fixed match (there are some, I've been caught on it a few times, but it's rare compared with virtual sports betting).
I can't say anything good or bad about 1xBet — I only made a few bets there, it wasn't comfortable for me. But I think it's possible in virtual sports, and there might be more than one casino with that kind of cheating.

I can’t say much on this because I’ve not really taken time to follow those matches, but the allegations sure does raise some serious concerns about the integrity of sports. If it’s true that players are being instructed to manipulate certain events, then that only means that viewers are only watching scripted shows and bettors on the other hand are being misled. Well, simply don't bet on games you don't know anything about... I think it has been said many times here on the forum, bet only on major games! On sports you follow, with known names. Maybe there's fixing in top competitions, but that's a different discussion... In lower ones, there's for sure.

Years ago (before crypto), I used to visit small casinos around the city. At one point, people started betting on dog races... but we don't have them in my country, so all the races were streamed. I am not sure about how the fake betting scam works. A fraud case like that is new to me and indeed I have never encountered it. If they really create fake matches, how do they attract betting interest? Do they fake the names of the teams playing? Or is it really betting from amateur teams? I just don’t know how the betting organizers or the betting sites themselves get the attention of bettors.

Sometimes rumors stand to be true, so if by chance there is true of some players being manipulated to play in a manner of making sure the fix matches played as they want to the games play exactly, but sometimes i sees reasons to argue more about these that games can never be fixed in such away of manipulating the players as well but ever since i know that everything is possible in football, i don't doubt any rumors and as well i can't say much on this either, so the major concern should base on how rumors is affecting the gambling industry, but yet gambling industry is just like the way it is.

I've heard similar stories that relates to these fake sports farm and I wonder why a casino should stop so low as to involve in such schemes, it shows that some platforms can be very desperate to scam bettors for undesirable profits. The best thing is to identify such scam casinos that are into this fake sports farms, expose them and totally avoid them, such casinos should be publicly shamed. The rate of online scams is increasingly alarming, we're not only worrying about hackers now even casinos that should operate to build reputations are now joining in online scams. Here in my region of my country we have a local league of football, which has some significant following in the state, some people bet on it but I don't, because I have the hunch there could be some serious corruption going on, the kind of corruption which could lead to match fixing.
My state is famous for harboring some dangerous and powerful criminal organizations, there is always a possibility those organizations paid players some money or gave them some gold in order to secure millions in betting profits.

Hmm, I have read the news. So, this is not just an incident from some odd amateur match. I could see players fielded under different names and identity and were there allegation that match outcome were manipulated in accordance with organizers instruction? However, it is also stated here that, according to 1xBet these stream were provided by third party provider. Apparently, they did not organize such match themself.

Of course this explanation does not fully absolve them of their responsibility. They also have responsibility to verify what kind of event and data are being received on their platform.

I just can't understand how there are bettors who bet on a fake match like that. A scammer company is still a scammer company. They do aim to cheat. They get customers by sponsoring sports teams. Their brand can still be seen by people and they will continue to make money from gamblers who know nothing about their brand.

Well, some gamblers don't care about the originality of games, as long as they've chances with it. You are more enlightened than a whole lot of gamblers and you can question the reliability of the outcomes of the matches. But what exactly are you referring to? Which events are you talking about?

In any case, you always have to be careful about which events you bet on. In my country, some of the events offered by casinos leave a lot to be desired in terms of organization, professionalism, and adherence to even local sports regulations—let alone how things are handled when it comes to betting.

1xbet is popular in my country because they engages celebrities and social media influencers for their advertisements. I don't have account there neither do I plan to use them because I have always seem them as shady and up to no good. Their constant use of people who do not gamble to run their adverts makes me see them as fake which is why I never had interest in using them.  It is good that they are coming out as scammers just like I suspected.
