When a trader avoid making revenge trade after experiencing massive trading losses it automatically reduce and limit the rate of losses the trader experiences during its trading period, and most traders ignore this strategic trading approach because of how desperate they are to recover their lost money immediately which at the end will result to massive financial losses of their trade. That is why its required of every trader to avoid revenge trading because it is an emotional trap that makes traders to instantly force the trading market to give them back the money they just lost from their trade, making these traders to risk more of their money to trade just to recover their lost money back and also to wipe out their previous loss in just a trade, that is driven by anger and panic which makes these set of traders to abandon and forget their trading strategy completely.

Any trader trying to revenge trade after experiencing losses should just know that they are fooling themselves. How can someone take revenge on a market that they cannot control? Doing so is likely to lead to even more losses. As a trader, you need to set a certain amount of money aside for trading, and once you lose that amount, you should not enter the market again until you have taken the time to understand what went wrong. This means that something must have gone wrong, and instead of trying to revenge-trade, what you need to do is conduct more research to understand why you are experiencing losses. When a trader tries to revenge trade, they are more likely to suffer even greater losses because they may not take the time to conduct proper analysis. As a result, the trader will likely end up gambling with the market continuously

Being disciplined as a trader is one of the biggest achievements you can be proud of because it has its own advantages when it comes to revenge trades. As a trader who is very disciplined, you have no business with going after loss trades because you already have a plan you’re trading which will always be your guide.
Being disciplined is very important and it's the most important thing about trading, the reason why a lot of traders end up not making as much profit as the losses they incur. In the long run what keeps traders in check is discipline and consistency and not really the knowledge that they have.

Quote
Wins and losses are part of trading that you should get conversant with and not a means for you to feel pompous that you know it all or feel sad that you’ll be angry to want to recover your loss back. Not everyone can control their emotions but if you can, then you’re one step ahead of the market and won’t be affected much when you meet with a loss, or even think of a revenge trading.
Controlling emotions isn't really as difficult as a lot of people think it is, all it takes is just learning market psychology and understanding how to apply risk management, when traders fail to follow these basic principles this is what makes them retrade after incurring losses.

I watched BTW manipulated and there was one trader that shorted the coin, he was take out of his stop loss and the money was a big one. The stop loss he set was so big that he didn't expected the trade was going to be take out. When he realized that he has made bad loss, he didn't follow the people doing the manipulation to push BTW, he stayed with his strategy and re-enter the trade because he believes that the trade will reverse and fortunately for him, it went as he expected and all the loss he made came back and even made small profits.

If you are a trader and you experienced loss, if you don't know what to do next, don't do a revenge tradings. You should either stop trading and come back another time or look for another trade to make and you shouldn't put your loss on your mind to get back else you may even suffer another loss and it will be impossible to get profits that will cover your losses.

Well to me i believe the market moves in different ways, and one of them is psychological, which means you might actually be revenge trading and you wouldn't even know, and perhaps this mentality is one that isn't easily noticeable by most traders.just like every other regular trades after a loss, then you jump back in most folks even call it consistency and in that point in time, they begin to make impulsive decisions ,and at the end of the day, they end up getting liquidated out of the market. Best to say as a trader you must understand that losses are inevitable for that, you must try as much as possible not to trade irrationally. Basically you are supposed to trade with the trend, not against the trend. This logic applies not only technically, but mentally too because if your psychology is messed up, you will be jumping in and out of the market with no clear understanding of the market direction. That's all......
