I think it doesn't only happen in the crypto market, it also happens with different investment instruments. I tried to compare worldwide Google Trends data over the past 5 years. Below, you can see that the terms Bitcoin, Crypto, and Stocks show almost the same pattern, only different in search volume. As you can see, stocks even get less interest from people.

Then I added Gold to the comparison, and you can see it's still dominant over the other search terms.

The same thing happened when I added AI to the comparison.

Well, it's not an apples to apples comparison because AI is not an investment instrument, but this shows that people seem to be busy with AI.

It could be a big challenger to Bitcoin and other investment instruments because it seems like the trend now is to become an AI freelancer, solopreneur, and make money from a one person company or products built with AI.

I mean, maybe people are getting bored with crypto, seeing that it only works during the right market cycle, so they want to build something that can work and make them money in the long term. CMIIW
