Because when a trader loses it trades when trading it creates a mindset of frustration in the traders mind that makes the trader to start chasing its losses by risking more funds to place more impulsive trades just to recover back it loss funds. This situation makes the trader to be so addicted to trade due to how desperate he is to trade back his lost money at all costs. And also since the trading market operates 24/7 with non stop and it never closes it makes traders to trade on a regular basises any time they want which results to placing frequent unplanned trade out of excitement because the trading market is always open and active anytime, any day they want to have access to it to trade which at the end will make them become so addictive to trading.
So I think trading can be addictive just like gambling.

Do you agree with me that people can get addicted to trading just like gambling or You don't agree?

Trading like gambling is very addictive because it is about profit and loss. Especially when someone does futures trading or leverage trading, it becomes very addictive for him because there he can increase his small amount of capital several times along with profit and loss. This makes him very addicted because he sees that if he trades $100 with 10x leverage, his trade amount is $1000 and by taking such a large amount of trade, he can easily increase his capital quickly if he can trade correctly. This kind of opportunity makes him very addicted to trading. Due to which he loses control over himself and spends a lot of time there. And in this case, he cannot make a profit on average but loses a lot of money. However, despite losing, he cannot stop trading because he gets used to it and it becomes his addiction.

We all have different opinions about this but for me it depends on how you see trading. If you are a trader with a psychology of a true trader, you most likely have good patience and calm mind on your trades, you won't chase losses or having rush decisions, every step is planned and has logic behind it. It's unlikely that you will get addicted to it since you have a mind conditioned to do calculated moves.

Winning is addicting and doing it on trading, it's much more addicting since it shows the fruit of hard work in studying and experimenting you did. Though being addicted on trading doesn't mean they are always winning, there are people who are getting addicted because they keep chasing their losses and not realizing that they are addicted.
