On this last Saturday night a friend of mine was attacked at home, he locked himself in his room gambling on his laptop, her mother was out for a church masses and she told him to lock the door behind.
He was carried away playing casino slots and some minutes later some group of men entered and robbed them all, four different houses nearby was robbed completely, he completely forgot to lock the door as instructed, he and his little niece were still in shock.
I don't get this news until Monday evening when the niece was taken to hospital, the shock got the best of her that she got her menstral flow all of a sudden, she is just 8years old.
Before you jump on your bed and start gambling away like no tomorrow do not forget to lock the door, gambling is as addictive as anything, your sense of surroundings depreciates real fast.
Always check the doors first before anything else.
I do not think this has anything to do with gambling. Perhaps it shows the start of a gambling addiction, which needs to be taken seriously before it gets out of hand, but definitely not something directly with gambling.
What if he did the same thing but instead of gambling, he was too much into video games and made the same mistake?
Nobody expects to get robbed until they get robbed.
Important thing is that they are all safe and alive. It could have been much worse.
