The fear that this bear season brought is far different from just fear about price dump but fear and doubt about the security of our Bitcoin assets, all the hacks that have happened this year have sparked so much controversial reaction on the internet. If you go to X, Reddit and some other crypto related social space, you will see how scared some people are, some are saying they just want to sell their Bitcoin and move on to other more secure kind of investment. Some of us that have not had the experience where we lost a huge amount of our asset might not really know how painful it can be, I don't blame these people but it doesn't actually me that Bitcoin price will not continue going up and even create a new all time high in the next bull season.
You have a point here, it's actually not bear market alone or even the bitcoin price being dump, but even the previous incident of hackers that's happens in a regularly bases are even enough to makes the investors uncomfortable. Most especially when it is things that involves money they have been working hard to accumulate for long-term, if at all, investor's has been experiencing different types of bear market and like 90% of investor's are still holding bitcoin without any faer as everyone knows the bitcoin price must fluctuate at any moment, so once you know how volatile the bitcoin is in nature, there wouldn't be any panicking. However, the securities matter is something different entirely, but we will not still lose up because of the incidents. We just have to be more careful on how we protecting/storing our coins.
