This wouldn't push through and the so called politicians knows this too, plus the mass adoption which has led to addiction will no be easy to contain. America won't do this because of the fear of being left behind by other powerful countries, just imagine them putting a stop in AI then China and Russia continues and develop it more, that would be a huge handicap for them, it's just fake PR for me
