2600 Magazine - Spring 2011 Issue

"How to Accept Payments Anonymously - A Digital Currency Guide"
Source: http://store.2600.com/spring2011.html

I am not a subscriber of this magazine. Are there any subscribers that can confirm or deny a mention of Bitcoin?

I'm not a subscriber either, but if they're not all over something like bitcoin they need to turn in their blue box.

"How to Accept Payments Anonymously - A Digital Currency Guide"

Funny that they're asking for the subscription money via PayPal.

Oh man, I haven't kept up with 2600 since Mitnick was imprisoned and 2600 Australia was pulled down.  Embarrassed

The article is titled "How to Accept Payments Anonymously - A Digital Currency Guide". It details several digital money options such as LiqPAY, WebMoney, etc. Only a paragraph is devoted specifically to Bitcoin. The article does not go into services or vendors by name, other than to say "Numerous Bitcoin exchangers such as Liberty reserve exist who will convert it into cash in the mail or another e-currency with an ATM card."

Oh! now I see it! "...with mailed cash services such as nanaimo-gold.com,...". I thought it was mentioning cash services in general.
I owe you a Nanaimo bar. Wink

Oh cool. I did not know that.

What I'm asking is; Is there any mention of bitcoin related services in the marketplace - that's 2600's classified section. Is there any ads in there that relate to bitcoin?

I'll have to go buy a copy because it's not in my mailbox yet.

Ah, That marketplace. No. But this article could lead to some of their vendors accepting them. It would be a bitcoin friendly market.
