You know, there really is no good reason for that to have happened. The data LIED to me!!!

It's hard for any data to predict that someone suddenly dumps a $100k worth of bitcoins or does the opposite, buys $100k worth of bitcoins. But these things happen occasionally. It's a bold move and it's very interesting to see if this will lead to the price breaking $5 soon. I think it definitely could.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!

It's so quiet, there's only ~2 threads cheering the rise, and the IRC channels are not being spammed.

Where are you guys?! Lazy bastards, all celebrating the coming new year or something -.-

Just kidding! This is totally awesome, and I'll be off to a party in an hour too* Grin

What's interesting to see is that none of the buying appears to be from money on the visible order book.  In the past hour I've watched several large buys go through, but the depth to, say, $3 only increases.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.

Ahahahahaha Grin

Me, I just have a notification app on my phone. It's easier. Also, rather non-intrusive, I don't daytrade so I don't want to be waken up at the middle of the night. But if it's early morning, I don't mind watching the horse races.

LOL, yeah I tend to lightly wake up a couple times a night anyway. So now I just I roll over to casually check the price, all while try to be slow and sneaky so my gf doesn't wake up. I had to leave the room just now, haha, but with this rally she will be very happy once she gets up this morning. LOL

I giggle with the thought, =P. Though seeing the expected correction happening will probably cause them be back off, and for people who are long to simply smile.

Yeah, resistance at $5 is filling in nicely.  Looks like there's still a good chance I'll be right about no $5 for the rest of 2011... valiant effort though.
