Author Topic: Looks like the block explorer is slowing down. Would this be due to the 25 coin  (Read 1008 times)

No. As of writing, the block chain is at block 160220. Source: https://blockexplorer.com/q/getblockcount

According to the wiki, the change to 25 BTC per block happens on block 210000. If you don't believe the wiki article, this can be verified by looking at the bitcoin source code.
