I bought .37 with hard earned cash from my RL physical labor job. I put that all on cryptsy and bought some alt coins. All that seems to happen on cryptsy is the decline of btc value of the coins. People/miner pools sell so low, they keep driving prices lower. I'm an average married schmuck with 4 kids. I won't be buying anymore as I could've just gotten my kids something but I was hoping that maybe these coins would grow over time and I can give them better life. Too many conmen & scammers in this game. I'm convinced now this will never be adopted by the general public for those same reasons. I love the technology too, so much promise, the peer to peer community over govt. bullshit. If you feel pity for me throw me some rescue satoshis. Grateful I only had to lose a few hundred to learn hard way, but I desperately wanted to believe there are intelligent, like minded people, like me, who are sick & tired of corrupt banksters and crooks fleecing the working poor. Good luck with your movement, thanks for reading my rant.

What price did you buy at? As long as it wasn't ridiculous, I think you just need to hold and you'll see a price higher than you bought at within 2014.

And then you should probably sell, as it sounds like you have no stomach for this level of risk.

Thanks for the interest, friend. I spent almost $300, not really so much as to put my family at risk if I failed. You're right about holding the alt coins though, I'm optimistic and somewhat confident that if I wait long enough, they'll go up in value. At least I hope they will.  Cry I tried to pick coins that seemed to have a lot of good features or hype going for them like EAC, MAX, DEV, & MEOW but who knows what coins are going to stick around or appreciate at this point. There are so many to choose from and so much FUD, it's hard to tell which are the best ones to put a few bucks into  Roll Eyes No worries though mate, if they go back up or if I could get my money back without a major loss, I'll sell them for sure. At the end of the day, when I think about it, I knew they were high risk to invest in,  and this is very new tech. With greater adoption by Joe Six-Pack, cryptos have so much potential to do a lot of great things. Hopefully when more regular folk buy into cryptos, prices will have stabilized more & huge failures like mtgox won't happen at all. That's is when I believe it's going to be truly awesome, wider adoption and use, that is. Oh, how I wish I had heard of bitcoin much sooner, I would of put money in it for sure in the early days of it, had I only known of it. NO BALLS, No GLORY though, right?

About 3. I'm disappointed because I thought they'd be worth more, instead they've gone down in the past few weeks.
