Hello Bitcoiners!

I'm trying to spread awareness of my brand-new UK tobacconist http://www.bitbacco.co.uk so I've set up an affiliates program! You can earn 5% of the bitcoin on purchases made after following your referral links. I'm hoping this will spread the word faster among UK bitcoiners.

You can sign up here:
http://bitbacco.co.uk/index.php?route=affiliate/login

(affiliate accounts will need to be verified manually, so post here if you sign up and I'll activate your account more quickly! You can enter false address/phone number but your email will need to be in use for registration. Please use your BTC receiving address as your 'company name' when you sign up, payments will be sent on completion of sales.)

I had pitched this idea to my development team but I was instructed that international regulations on the shipment of tobacco and alcohol and the markups required to be profitable would make it an overall bad investment.

I hope you prove them wrong.  Smiley
The law does make it a little tricky, but I'm starting with England as I live there and we'll see how it goes... no license to sell necessary here unlike Scotland luckily! If it takes off I think local distributors or franchises with local licenses if necessary should be able to work around the law in most regions at least..

Thanks for your support!

Police say a London man is running a BitBacco hashhouse at his Blair Terrace home. Police and Drug Enforcement agents served a warrant at his Yorkshire residence Thursday and found in the basement 256 BitBacco plants in various stages of development, but not what they were looking for. After enjoying the product with the homeowner, the police offices informed him, in no uncertain terms, "We'll be back!", then staggered to their squad cars.

I see your privacy policy is lacking, but aren't you violating it with your very first affiliate?

True, I need to update that and the T&C, I just need to read up on lawyer speak quickly!

I don't think we violate it though - No transactions have been processed yet so I can't see but I don't think user information is passed on to affiliates, just transactions - the interface for them shows Date Added|Description|Amount (BTC) - I think it's just time/date, item name and BTC but once a transaction has been processed using the system I will update!

Smiley  Ohh...don't mind me..I'm not trying to troll.. but I have a few suggestions...

If that is a cement floor..you should raise them up a bit.  It's too easy for bugs to get in your plants if they can just walk right in the drain holes.

Here's what I would do... get a bunch of wood pallets and lay them on the floor to keep your shit off the ground.  I would also get some of those round plastic 4 foot wide kiddie pools, put that on top of a pallet to raise it off the ground,  and put your plants in there.  Makes it soooo much easier to catch the runoff when you water your girls.  You don't want the water to run onto the floor and create a breeding habitat for bugs and mold.

The roots will even thrive and grow right out of the pot bottoms if you keep a bit of water / hydro solution in the pool.

Put your 600-1kw MH for veg or your HPS for flower on top and you're good to go.  It's kind of a hydroponic / soil hybrid solution that works great!  When you water your plants, most will drain out the holes in the pots at first...but if you leave some in the pool, it will suck it back up to fully moisten the soil.  Water often and make sure the same water don't stay stagnant in the pool for long.

But I don't know anything about this stuff so I'm just guessing.   Smiley

don't know about how pests like or dislike tobacco plants but extracted nicotine can be used as an insecticide on other plants

This is my first crop and I sure the heck hope it ain't ruined because of you. Perhaps if I send you a pound to do a full anylsis, youlll be ably to help be. i 'd have tgo chargeee 300BTC/poundlb althoough cause of wll the work needebe to prossecc IT. sorry ofor all typos -- neeed to get outta thiss room.

UK Duty on cigarettes is a very different tax to VAT, and it's paid before I buy the products (on import to the country), I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for me to sell duty-free!
